glo - thanks!! I won't have any trouble driving....I am a pro at that lol and I have lots of time to get there....his flight has been delayed 75 mins already...he's now landing at 8:15 pm. I work in Mississauga so the plan was to stay at work until it's time to pick him up. Guess I'm working a few hours of overtime tomorrow lol I hope to God it doesn't change again tomorrow unless it is going to leave earlier!!

Ok nae, we'll keep ya company today with a little extra humour
One day an 85-year-old man is taking a stroll around his hometown, which he has lived in for his whole life. As he sees the landmarks, homes, and streets from his youth, he starts reminiscing....
"I remember helping build that bridge when I was 25. I worked hard on that. But people won't call you 'the bridge builder' if you do that here. No, no, they don't!"
"I remember building that house over there when I was 30. But people won't call you 'the house builder' if you do that. No, no they don't!"
"I remember building that tavern that I still lounge at when I was 35. If you do that people won't call you 'the tavern builder' either. They sure won't!"
"But if you diddle one goat......."

One for Mr Nae, you can always try this if you get pulled over by OPP or RCMP
A local law enforcement officer stopped a car for traveling faster than the posted speed limit. Since he was in a good mood that day he decided to give the poor fellow a break and write him out a warning instead of a ticket. So, he asks the man his name." Fred" he replies. "Fred what?" the officer asks. "Just Fred" the man responds. When the officer presses him for a last name, the man tells him that he used to have a last name but lost it. The officer thinks he has a nutcase on his hands but plays along with it. "Tell me Fred, how did you lose your last name?"
The man replies... "It's a long story so stay with me. I was born Fred Dingaling. I know, funny last name. The kids used to tease me all the time. So I stayed to myself. I studied hard and got good grades. When I got older I realized that I wanted to be a doctor. I went through college, medical school, internship, residency, finally got my degree so I was Fred Dingaling, MD. After a while I got bored being a doctor so I decided to go back to school. Dentistry was my dream. Got all the way through school, got my degree so I was now Fred Dingaling MD DDS. Got bored doing dentistry so I started fooling around with my assistant. She gave me VD. So, I was Fred Dingaling MD DDS with VD. Well, the ADA found out about the VD so they took away my DDS so I was Fred Dingaling MD with VD. Then the AMA found out about the ADA taking away my DDS because of the VD, so they took away my MD leaving me as Fred Dingaling with VD. Then the VD took away my dingaling so now I'm just Fred." The officer let him go without even a warning

Agreed...I read the last one at a stressful moment at work and it calmed me and I was able to chuckle and not commit career suicide.

ok here's one
In a tiny village on the Irish coast lived an old lady, a virgin and very proud of it. Sensing that her final days were rapidly approaching, and desiring to make sure everything was in proper order when she dies, she went to the town's undertaker (who also happened to be the local postal clerk) to make proper 'final' arrangements. As a last wish, she informed the undertaker that she wanted the following inscription engraved on her tombstone: 'BORN A VIRGIN, LIVED AS A VIRGIN, DIED A VIRGIN' Not long after, the old maid died peacefully. A few days after the funeral, as the undertaker-- postal clerk went to prepare the tombstone that the lady had requested, it became quite apparent that the tombstone that she had selected was much too small for the wording that she had chosen He thought long and hard about how he could fulfill the old maid's final request, considering the very limited space available on the small piece of stone. For days, he agonized over the dilemma. But finally his experience as a postal worker allowed him to come up with what he thought was the appropriate solution to the problem.
The virgin's tombstone was finally completed and duly engraved, and it read as follows: 'RETURNED UNOPENED'

Good Afternoon All! Yay Nae, its your day... soon... you.... will be on your way, to pick up hubby and he will stay... forever and ever no matter the weather! Girl you must be so stinking excited that you could just SCREAM ... i worked the whole day that I picked up hubby too, what a mess I was... you couldnt wipe the smile off me face.. I actually ended up being late to pick him up, damn traffic lol....and hubby was wandering around the airport and of course his phone didnt work so he was asking people to use their phones like he would in JA and no one would give him a phone or answer him lol... and he only had JA dollars..... but we were finally reunited... then we got home, drank pink champagne, got frossssssed out and danced to love music until the early morning then made up for some lost time it was perfect!! Ahhhhhhhhhh Memories cant wait to hear your reunion story.... and all the things he mentions about Toronto... how flat it is, how there is so many lights, how big and smooth the roads are and all that stuff!

OMG kc, so you can imagine how HARD it is to work lol I am sooooooooo friggin excited!!! Hubby just called, he has checked his bags and is about to go through security. His parents, brother and sister are with him. After saying hi to everyone, they are sending him through security and I'll no longer have contact with him. He's leaving his phone with his dad so he can continue to use the international calling plan. I'm going to be a bundle of nerves at the airport....waiting and wondering if everything is going smoothly. I have tried to prepare him the best I can from what to do going through security in JA to filling out the immigration card on the plane to going through customs and immigration then getting his bags. He is very very nervous because he hasn't ever travelled or been on a plane before. I know he will be fine but I still worry. lol thanks kc....love the sound of him staying forever and ever no matter the weather!!! sigh
