Well, here's a light start to the day:

An old lady in a nursing home is wheeling up and down the halls in her wheelchair making sounds like she's driving a car. As she's going down the hall an old man jumps out of a room and says, "Excuse me ma'am but you were speeding. Can I see your driver's license?" She digs around in her purse a little, pulls out a candy wrapper, and hands it to him. He looks it over, gives her a warning and sends her on her way.

Up and down the halls she goes again. Again, the same old man jumps out of a room and says, "Excuse me ma'am but I saw you cross the center line back there." "Can I see your registration please?" She digs around in her purse a little, pulls out a store receipt and hands it to him. He looks it over, gives her another warning and sends her on her way.

She zooms off again up and down the halls weaving all over. As she comes to the old man's room again he jumps out. This time, he's stark naked and has an erection! The old lady in the wheel chair looks up and says, "Oh no...... not the Breathalyzer again!"

Randy, don't fret. Don't worry yourself as many of us have had challenges to work through. Lots of our friends have filed under skilled worker class and it takes forever for them, gonna be retired before KG lets them through. Although it's hard you shouldn't compare your file with others as we all have different challenges, you'll be just fine.

Aba, as Nae and Charlie have stated e-cas is poorly updated. I recieved an e-mail yesterday stating the Mrs landed on Dec 27, took 2 weeks for them to let me know. Good thing she didn't have to wait in the airport, man she'd be pissed.

Ok KG lets get rockin,  NEXT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

back to work ugh       and to top that off we are getting a snow storm today...up to 15 cm of snow predicted woo hoo .... NOT!  

child of the king - don't worry, my husband's file says the same thing....judging from other forum members here, they don't update ecas in most cases until after they have landed - as you can see from canuck's post.  I added you to our list of updates too.

HUBBY GOT THE CALL TO PICK UP HIS PP  WOOOO HOOOO!!!!!!!!  



I can't believe they called so soon!!!  they said he can pick it up on Mon or Thurs between 1:30 and 2:30 pm  so he's going on Thursday....he is going to a funeral on Monday for his uncle he can't come right away but I'm booking him a ticket to come next Thursday

OMG I'm soooooooooo friggin excited!!!!!!!  

he want to keep it a secret so FB friends....please don't post anything on my FB page

God how on earth can I keep this a secret lol

Just today I was at work thinking that it seems that KGN is still celebrating the festive season but it appears that they are working in silence.

Oh Nae I am so happy for you. Congratulations hon....I can only imagine how much your heart is pumping with pure joy.

It gives me hope that my hubby will be called to pick up his passport before this week ends.

thanks brownsuga, charlie, jahlove, lonelywife and child of the king!!   When hubby told me, I thought he was joking lol  I called him to tell him I was leaving work and he said he missed me and was bored all day without me until 15 mins before I called....so I asked what happened 15 mins before I called....he said a girl blew kisses at him.  Naturally I said what girl???  he laughed and said "oh a girl from the embassy"  I was confused at this point ... he then said she called to tell me to pick up my passport.  I didn't believe him lol  after a few minutes of him laughing and telling me that he was serious I finally believed him.  

Wow!!!  I'm still in shock!     it's like I can't believe this is real....it's finally coming to an end!!!  

I'd like to thank everyone here for all your support during this process....I really don't know what I would have done without this forum!  I'll still be here after hubby arrives....I'm too addicted to stop lol

aww i just called hubby and told him your story nae... i was reading out to him what hubby did to you... he said this man giving some good ideas so i can just imagine what he is going to do lol hahaha... anyways i am keeping my fingers crossed that my hunny get the call in the next month to drop off his pp cause im in KG from feb. 12 to feb. 25... come on Kingston who is next??

Good evening everyone!!  


  First of all CONGRATS NAE ..... It is the BEST feeling in the world to get that final call..... isn't it!!!!!!  YA YA YA...So another one is done with KG... WOW...the old forum is almost done.....making room for all the new ones.... SO HAPPY FOR YOU AND MR. NAE!!!!!

  So things are awesome here,  my stepdaughter is starting school on thursday and we got hubby's SIN number today ...and found out he can take french courses paid by the government for the next 6 months if he wants...lol.   So he is thinking about it...decision yet to come     We met with Immigration Quebec this afternoon and I must say the man was extremely pleasant and hubby got along with him great, he was very informative and helped us with lots of the forms  and of course I start back to work next Monday..ugh ...but March break is right around the corner .   I am SOOOO happy right now and things are great and I finally have the best family dinners I have waited so many years to have  

  Hope everyone is doing great and I wish everyone a fantastic week
