Nae, congrtas my friend, I told you that taking an active role on the site was good luck. Hopefully hubby gets that call this week. Taking them roughly a week to 10 days to stamp it after that.

yay Nae, thats great... hopefully soon you will get a call for the PP... Canuck lol looks like we will have to think of the next person to do it..... and the nominations will start coming in soon. unless someone wants to volunteer! its a second job lol yes HFavour, this is as good as it gets... even though most of us are sponsoring husbands wifeys etc, there are a few that are sponsoring dependants. I know that sponsoring a parent or grandparent is an average of 26 months timeline, sponsoring adopted children, children to be adopted or other class is an average of 31 months and sponsoring children, commonlaw, spouse etc is 15 months. As you see on this forum that the 15 month mark isnt exactly our average for spousal sponsorship for late 2009 and 2010 applicants.. so far they seem to be around the 8 month or so... so hopefully yours will be quicker as well then the projected timeline (these numbers were taken from the offical website http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-fc.asp ) up until a few months ago it gave us 3 numbers, 1 number for 30% of applicants and then 2 more numbers, i think they were for 60% and 80% of applicants timelines (not totally sure cuz i was focused on the 30% of applicants) Now they just give us one general number! Not sure why they changed that on us. |

hubby still hasn't got the call...I'm so nervous I'm on the edge of my seat lol I rushed home and sent an email to my MP asking if she can enquire to see if a decision has been made....and really to just get on their butts to make that famous call kc and canuck - don't jinx me now!!! let's not get ahead of ourselves....let's wait and see if hubby gets the call. Considering they won't be open Friday and Monday, we don't know when that call will come. I want to keep doing my job until he gets his VISA in hand or has landed....I'd love to make that update myself rosemel - thanks!!! I sure hope he can pack his bags and come home with me that would be a dream come true!!!! lcw - yes it woulda been nice last week but I'll take what I can get!!! it would be extra nice if they can give him his VISA before Dec 31....that way I can go down, spend New Years with him and bring him home with me |

I know kc....I'm excited too but if hubby doesn't get the call tomorrow it won't be til God knows when  so I'm excited and a bit worried too!! I'd love to bring hubby home with me but if they don't call soon, that won't be possible. Do you think if we submitted an itinerary with his passport they might get it done before I leave JA??? I'll get hubby to ask when he gets the call lol |
