hello room!!! how is everyone well hubby and I landed Nov 24th, been very busy ever since Wednesday of course him no like the cold, but him go outside with him goosedown coat and him sey its not too bad I told him Winter not even start lol nuff things to do. So how is everyone?  ?  |

hey everyone...oh gosh I havent been online in forever...hoping everyone is well. i see a lot of happy landings and baby news ( i couldnt read all the pages) but congtrats KC and hubby and Jammy...wow..u did it girl...I see Calgary has been getting lots of white stuff...not that that is abnormal for there.
Well hubby has been here 1 yr now, fully adapted to the canadian life...well kind of...he still wont eat pizza or pasta but i got him to love Mcdonalds fries...lol
well welcome all the new folks...hang in there its a rough road but the end is near

FF...a pleasure to read your post after so long, great update....glad hubby has settled so well here....Pasta is one of the jobs I have ahead of me...I want my hubby to "try" it...but he says NOOOO way he isn't eating worms...lol... I am home early from hockey as our team lost this morning in the tournament, but it was the best hockey I have watched in a long time...we almost pulled it off with seconds left...6 men on the ice...and the puck hits the post  so 3-2 for us..OH well next time!! |

Kgn if you are listening it'd be nice to bypass the interview and join the que for PPR but Judging from the earlier timelines and few people still waiting before who knows. but we are keeping fingers toes and other stuff crossed, Hubby especially, he seems to think CIC goes by the book with a set formula, (we disagree on this point alot) poor soul deep down inside I would love to agree with him but too scared to put my hopes up with the likes of Kgn but I dont think I'll hear from them before January now. Hi Randysgirl, we chose to do it ourselves the application can seem quiet daunting at first glance, but its straight forward enough to attack on your own if you take your time, I think thats what most people on here did too.
and quiet a few people have successfully come through the process ok without going through a firm.
Hubby and I thought it best to put the money for a lawyer, towards the application processing fees.
However, it is up to you in the end, if you feel more comfortable getting a lawyer etc to assist you.
