Well, for the skilled worker applications they advised someone from the forum that our quota is finished for the yr...so nutten fi wi till next yr...
They seem to be winding down the categories for 2010.....I truly hope a few of you guys will be outta here for Christmas...I'm truly praying!!!

So on my way to work this morning I got a call for PP pick up. So I turned my bum around and went right back home I cannot believe this is finally OVER.

Now if only i could get hubby to calm down enough to book the tickets.

Chelly my hubby got his out last January. Hope it all goes smoothly.

Jammy, knew it was gonna be your week. Book that ticket girl. Air Canada has flights direct from Mobay to Edmonton and Calgary every Thursday, leaves at 1:50 pm or so. Save some hassle clearing imm in Toronto.

Maple, I,ve come to notice how close that #1 truly is. The girls chat on the cell while driving, stop a red light and do makeup. Jump on phone again up to the next light and add lip stick. Jump on cell, then brush thier hair mon. Haha

Thanks guys. Thank you everybody for the great support over the years. I don't know if I would have been sane through this process without this forum.

Unfortunately for me I think its too much hassle to drive to Montego Bay. We are looking at Air Canada flights right out of Kingston. Will be on the earliest cheapest flight.

2010 Pardon my bad Manners welcome to the forum.

I know exactly how you are feeling right now, I've experienced those anxious feelings myself with this process. but  if its any consolation I only just got my AOR on the 10th November I believe, it was post marked the 9th November.
but my AOR states they received my file on the 4th August so my file took just over a week to get to Kingston after Sponsorship being approved. I think thats the case for most people as well.
so it took them 3 months in my case to send out an AOR, probably because they were clearing up the backlog of older cases.
I've also  observed that most people who applied around the same time as me, Got an AOR Within the same week or so too, so I think they are really working now and it may not take as long for you to hear from them as some of us did.
the Important thing is you sent in your application and you have been approved now the wait begins. now you are one step closer to getting Hubby home.  
but on a whole CIC has stepped up their game its now only 37 days to process the Sponsorship part of the application.
dont know if its the Christmas breeze that sweet them but we got to love the overall progress.

I'm still trying to see what I think about the 15 months Business though
