Good afternoon  Congrats VW...another done....man oh man...the line is moving 8 days for us to make some kind of move "hopefully" !!! I can't wait...but at the same time I am holding my breath expecting the worst. Hope everyone has a great week and lots more updates happen!! Peoples lives are on hold here and if its not one thing its the other. I am praying for any 08, 09s to go thru in JESUS PRECIOUS NAME AMEN!!!!! missing... maybe it's time to "move"... try another mp... if someone else has had a particularily responsive one maybe you can contact them and just forget to mention you don't live in their jurisdiction... not sure if anyone's had to show proof of address before engaging an MP?
maybe using a friend/auntie or whatever's address to get in front of a different person...... desperate times call for desperate measures!
i just move last july sad to say i taught it will be olivia chow my new mp but when she ask for my address she reply and told me that my mp is bob rae. |

Happy Heroes Day! So as some of you know I am just starting on this journey, so as I am reading your posts I am reading about contacting an MP during your app filing...Could someone explain to me why this is needed or when it is needed and how they help? Is it really luck of the draw how quick or how long some ppl get through??? What are the hold ups?? It must be such a grief to anyone waiting so long to become a whole family, my heart goes out to you all, including myself I have many friends/family that have sponsored a spouse, and know sooo many ppl (maybe not personally but aquaintances) that so bandulu marriage get thru like less than a year, all thru kgn, so really now...mi waan mek sure my app solid like a rock. lol. |

Hi Everyone,
New to this site. Hubby in bahamas so processing through Kingston. All paperwork in...still waiting on sponsorship approval letter that was SUPPOSED to be sent to me on the 15th of Sept. Had to contact and get it sent AGAIN 'cause it never reached. ARGH. Any ideas on how long we gonna have to wait? Our two boys sure miss their daddy and so do I!!!!!!

Thanks Canuk! We sent in everything imaginable...medical...police reports...paid for everything as well. If we've done it all right anyone know how long typically we'll have to wait? We've been married 10 years ... lived in Bahamas and now moved to Canada. Our oldest child has been diagnosed with NF type 1 and the reason we moved since there's no hospitals on the island where we lived and no speech therapists, occupational therapists etc. Glad to be home in Canada but sure missing my hubby.
