Yesss more calls and updates we need great updates on here. Jammy I don't think they will be long for you to drop off.
I just booked his flight. Cost $230 not to shabby. Canuck make room is right I have been picking things up for him. Many things to do and don't know where to start.
I can't wait to see everyone moving out of here.

Hello Everyone,
I have not posted in a long time, but i am in the back ground reading silently. Congrats Glo, awesome news.
welcome all new comers. I have a question, do you think if hubby goes in to try and get a visitor visa to come to see me in January, will they grant him the visa, seeing that we have our application in already?
Any comment is welcome. We just would like to know your opinions before we proceed.

Hello, Confirming receipt of said documents which have been sent with subject's file to an officer and is presently in line to be reviewed. Good Morning everyone OMG GLO thats the best news i have heard for a long time im sooooooo happy for you too kg is finally moving!!!!!!!!!!I think i booked the same flight for my hubby with westjet it was also $230.00 ONEWAY!!!!!!!!! hubby wont be here until the end of the month he handed in his resignation at work yesterday and they wondered if he could stay till the end of november!!! he would have been here last week if he didnt have to give soo much notice. I also feel a little overwhelmed too i dont know where to start once he gets here. does anyone know how long it takes to get a SIN # Kimore - you need to write a very detailed letter to kg stating the purpose of ur hubbys travel and specific dates and make sure you state that he does plan on returning to JA for work or whatever and that he will not jepordize his PR application that is being processed. they usually dont grant the TRV when the PR is in process but i have heard of someone getting one but this person had ++ evidence from different family members also. :)Congrats to everyone who is getting thru that so wonderful  Good morning all! Someone had suggested that we include the TRV denial letter with our sponsorship app....will it affect anything if he put on the visa app he was coming to visit his grandparents? at the time we were engaged and he wanted to try to just visit, ease my burden and i told him it was unlikely they would issue it based on him visiting me, so he got a notarize letter from his grandfather/bank statements and what not saying they had promised him a trip..but kgn didnt even give him an interview, even tho he had good job letter, bank balances, and his grandfather is one of the founding members of the j'can canadian association..lol..yea  so, will they say he lied on his trv? He applied in June of '09 and we were married Feb '10. |

mrslwsn - it was me that said to include it on your application. Nobody knows what they think in KG but it's best to declare it. They ask on the app if you have ever been denied entry to Canada and if not why. I think you just simply state he applied for a TRV to visit his grandparents but was denied and give the file number. They will know whether you declare it or not so it's best to be up front about it. My hubby applied for a TRV and was refused....we got married a few weeks later. I think it's pretty common to be refused, someone on here once told me it wasn't a big deal....most people do get refused. It won't be a surprise to them.
