i imagine someone might try to make it difficult, but these things should be fairly easily produced by the carrier, so if you're on digicel, do persist until you get the result you want... it CAN be done!

  Yes it was my hubby that requested the phone bills as proof for him to take to the interview... it took some time but we got 8035 calls... 324 pages of logged phone time from Claro and that is from January until Sept 30th 2010 only ...lol.   So we will see if it helps in 2 weeks !!

ok thats great guys thx A LOT! The letters thing is no issue, we can get letters from grandparents (his) who live in new york and used to live in Canada, his mother, his brother, my friends all have met him, I dont av much family but letters is def available. My husband as 2 phones in  JA, Digicel, and a Cable n wireless one..my chip I use down there is C&W as well (lime) and I  have my own long distance records...do the digicel records apply to prepaid phones as well??? I also can try get my incoming records from my cell over here as well. 
Well got some bad news yesterday, my husband was laid off..his dealership is shutting down Mobay location, so after 7 yrs, (at that particular job) they r telling him some foolinesh like it only for 90 days etc etc bt trst me his boss is a snake...anyway, I fell it for him, because more time he is the one holding it down for everyone, so yu kno how it goes....

  Sorry to hear (read) that, Mrslwsn.  Times like this, it's hard to work for a place 7 years and get let go.  As we know, anything can happen, but I hope they really mean it when they say 90 days.

Going to be late for work this morning, again.  The plumber coming and the landlord having the place grilled so I have to wait until they are finished.  Good thing it's not tomorrow, or I would have told them forget it until Saturday.

Good morning all, mid week and things are quiet. Lets hope things warm up. I imagine KG will be closed for hereos day so we may another day. I spoke with my imm lawyer yesterday and he feels the new rules shouldn't have that big an impact. We all had to demonstrate everything before the change. Only more discretion by the IO now so luck of the draw for us.

A man entered a restaurant and sat at the only open table. As he sat down, he knocked the spoon off the table with his elbow. A nearby waiter reached into his shirt pocket, pulled out a clean spoon, and set it on the table. The diner was impressed. "Do all the waiters here carry spoons in their pockets?"

The waiter replied, "Yes. Ever since an Efficiency Expert visited our restaurant... He determined that 17.8% of our diners knock the spoon off the table. By carrying clean spoons with us, we save trips to the kitchen."

The diner ate his meal. As he was paying the waiter, he commented, "Forgive the intrusion, but do you know that you have a string hanging from your fly?"

The waiter replied, "Yes, we all do. Seems that the same Efficiency Expert determined that we spend to much time washing our hands after using the men's room. So, the other end of that string is tied to my junk. When I need to go, I simply pull the string, do my thing, and then return to work. Having never touched myself, there really is no need to wash my hands. Saves a lot of time."

"Wait a minute," said the diner, "how do you get your junk back in your pants?"

"Well, I don't know about the other guys, but I use the spoon."

 @  Charlie, thx! yea, im a lil pissed, but so it go...hard economic times, and thank god husband is resourceful and educated, im sure he will make out, but as his wife far away it kinda breaks my heart for him.

 @  Canuck, what exactly are the new changes? I did read an article, but didnt quite understand the changes, as I am not familiar yet with terms and process as yet.

Mrs, prior to Sept 30, 2010, the application had to meet 1) proof of genuine relationship or 2) that the marriage was not solely to gain admission into Canada. If you could prove either or you would meet the visa requirements. The new law states that you must prove both that you have a genuine marriage and that it was not entered into to gain admission into Canada. The IO will have more discretion in refusing an application.
For most of us we had to prove them both anyways

lol..bwoi...my husband doest even wat to come here. If only di IO could even know. He would rather I come there, but with my kids being Canadian it would be way too hard. I plan on explaining this but not sure how to prove this.

Mrs, take a copy of your child care arrangements showing you have joint custody, even if you have primary residence your ex still has visitation rights and those rights will not allow you to take them down. They will understand the process as you're certainly not the first one with these issues. You will not be req'd to chose between hubby or children.  You have a strong case going under Humane and Compassionate grounds if they deny your claim

PRAISE THE LORD Hubby is coming home. He got the call today at 4:20 pm. I had called the MP to see if they would email them and they did this afternoon. And he gets the call. Yahooooo I was crying so hard the kids thought something was wrong. lol nooo everything is great.
