Yardie, when I was in JA in March we got a call March 10th asking for Original Documents (i.e. Marriage Certificate, Birth Certificate, any other insurance documents and anything else we could use as proof). But thanks to divine timing I answered hubby's cellphone when they called and I think that also worked in our favour. May 10th he got the PPR call. They stamped in May 14th (that's how fast it can be ready!). But with all the issues in Tivoli Gardens he didn't get to pick it back up until the 27th.

lol I have no idea if that helps or doesn't help. But I'm blessed to be a blessing. Cheesy

Mrslwn - aside from all of those, we are also getting letters of support from friends who were around to watch the development of our relationship.  Hubby and I met in a chat room, and have many mutual friends there, so we have asked a few whom we are close to, including the owner of the chat room, to write testimonials for us, saying this is a genuine, loving relationship.  You might want to get letters from members on both sides of your family, especially those who have spent time with both of you together.

mrs lwsn - if your hubby applied for travel visa you should send in the denial letters with your app.  It does ask if you have been denied entry to Canada before so you should declare when he has applied for TRV and the date of refusal plus the file numbers.  I agree with charlieD about the letters of support from family and friends, I too did that.  Any cards (bday, wedding, Valentines day etc) should be sent (or copied and sent), any Western Union receipts he has from sending you money.  You do have to send a copy of your passport with all the stamps.  I sent facebook pages, comments from friends and family and aything I could get off FB to support our relationship.  And if you talk on msn, you can save your message history and print that out as well.  The wedding itinerary or any paperwork you have from the wedding?  I can't think of anything else at the moment

mrslwsn...

to add to what everyone else has said, phone records are also pretty important because they are confirmable if there's doubt in the IOs mind (where chat logs and letters and all that other stuff are a bit more easily fabricated)... and we all know how jamaicans love phone Smiley I think it was Charlie that said you could request phone records from Claro, not sure if Digicel provides the same printouts?

Someone else on the Claro, not me, LOL.  But I know that Honeybird over in POS thread requested phone records from Digicel and got them, so that is an option.

I got a Flow landline installed on Saturday, because most of our communication until he came to Jamaica was via MSN, and most of it is lost because the damn computer crashed  Sad  Wait until they see how much time we spend every night on the phone  Tongue
