Good evening forum

First I want to thank Jamwifey to invite me to this forum. Way better than any forum I have been in! I just finished reading all the 387 pages of post you guys wrote ( lol I have nuttn to do as I'm on sick leave) and it's amazing all the info I found. Some of your posts made me laugh, some almost made me cry and one think for shure is that the posts gave me some strenth to keep smiling and waiting! Not been easy lately and that's what I needed!

Morning everyone

Well, the rainy weekend is over, time for KG to start issuing more good news.

Still settling into the new place, but as hubby leaves on Wednesday (  ) we went out for date night last night.  Had a lovely romantic dinner at "our" restaurant, where we had our wedding dinner, and where he took me to celebrate my birthday. 

Bah humbug, Monday morning!

Peeps i hope we get news pan dis yah forum .....Anyways Peeps I have officially quit and kickked my habit of 14 years smoking ....YUP I HAVE WENT without a cig for 92 hours......WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO hoooooo...So very hard but worth every struggle let me tell you ... I AM A WARRIOR to this addiction it will not defy me ....I am done!!!

Good morning family, hope everyone had a great weekend. Gonna be a good month for us all hopefully. Lord knows we need some movement and get our senior members into Canada and make way for the rest of us.
One to start the week with

 man goes to the doctor after feeling ill. The doctor says, "You know, you should have come to see me sooner. Unfortunately you have waited too long and you are going to die this evening." The man is distraught and wonders how he is going to tell his wife. Well, he tells her and she takes it pretty well. "Honey, this is going to be a night that you will always remember," she says. "I am going to treat you like a king." She prepares a scrumptious gourmet dinner with wine, candles-the works.

After dinner she slips away and returns in the most incredible negligee the man has ever seen. She leads him into their bedroom. They make the most passionate love they have ever made. The man is beside himself. Once done, the wife rolls over to go to sleep knowing she kept her promise. Well, the husband is wide awake watching the clock.

He knows that he is doomed. He taps her..."Honey?" he whispers. She rolls over and again proceed to make love. Again when they were done she rolls over and he taps her. She is getting cranky, but under the circumstances she grants her husband's dying wishes. Finally the wife rolls over and begins to snore. Well, the man decides to tap her again. "Honey?" he whispers. She rolls over and yells, "Oh sure! You don't have to get up in the morning!!!"

How'd you do it LCW? I need the bestest way possible to get my partner to quit. He's tried so many times but it doesn't ever seem to work.... SHARE THAT SECRET gurl

Confused...one thing...don't nag about it  My hubby smokes cigars and sometimes cigarettes.  The cigars I don't mind, but cigarettes drive my asthma mad.  Since we started living together, I haven't said a word to him about it, except for one time he kissed me right after smoking cigarettes and I told him to go brush, LOL.

My not saying anything though, has actually worked for me, because he knows how I feel about cigarette smoking, and he has smoked less than a full pack since being here for the past 5 months!  In time, I know he will give up the habit all on his own, and the only thing I needed to do was be patient and supportive.
