CONGRATS confuse ...medical redo is a VERY VERY good thing...so looks like once a few things are cleared up (which is obviously your overstay ) your coming back to iglooooos ...hahahaha no but seriously thats a good thing ...so hopefully this can de stress you a little ...IO is preparing for a approval it looks that way to me ...having a medical redo looks like they are going to approve and recommend your ARC ...so yah when is that interview again!!

Good morning.
I was offline yesterday because I had to take my husband to UHWI, it finally came to where he had no choice, he collapsed while out with some friends and started having seizures. It was a rough day, to say the least, we got home around midnight, and he was still sick after being treated. As much as I hate to see him leave, truthfully I wish tomorrow was Oct 6, because it is best if he goes home and sees his own doctor and specialist.
Then I came here this morning, and read all the new posts and see that it was a bad day all around. Rosemel, sorry to hear they dragged your husband all that way just to put him off. That's not right. For everyone else in the same boat, I think it's a good idea you all wrote emails.
From what I am seeing, lots of people get through in less than a year, some even in less than 6 months. At one point I said to hubby it might have been better if I was gay, it seems to speed up the process! It's true, people have abused the process, but it truly seems like sometimes they make it harder on certain groups, just because of who they are. I have never seen the numbers of people I saw at the US embassy at the Canadian HC, I fail to see why it takes so long to decide on a case. I was number 223 on the day I went to the US embassy to get a new visa last year, I was out of there by 11:30 after going through two security checkpoints, and waiting for an interview. Say what you will about them, at least the Americans let you know quick whether they giving you the visa, yes or no.
I'm so tired...and I am not happy to leave him alone today, but I had to come to work. I am out of here as soon as I can. Keep the faith, ladies and gents.

I can't even believe what I've come back to on here... Im so sorry Rosemel.. reading what happened to your husband made me so angry. I don't understand what the hell is going on. Before I logged onto the forum I went to look at processing times on Canadas website.. and wow! there seems to be a coincidence.... and this may or may not be true, but it looks sketchy that the country where the applicant comes from is darker, then the longer the wait. mmhmm.
The other day I was in training, and it was on diversity and the conversation lead to immigration and Canada's racist policies... did you you know that up until the late 1980's, the chances of migrating to canada if you were from a warmer climate country were slim because Canada felt that people would not be able to adapt to "the cold winter". WOW!! If that doesnt say it all, then I dont know what does.
Im just so angry the way people on here have been treated... Im just a newbie and it terrifies me watching you all go through the process... It's clearly unfair and I can't believe this is happeneing in a country that invites people to migrate here.
I also have a suggestion when sending out letters to Mr.Kenney, people should also forward the letter to MP, Olivia Chow. Olivia is a huge huge advocate when it comes to immigration, and I know she challenges Mr.Kenney whenever she gets a chance.

Rosie I feel your pain girl, I can only imagine the anticipation and anxiety leading up to this day
Not to mention how nerve-wrecking, and tedious this whole process is to begin with, and final you think you will get the answer you are looking for and this is how they treat people, no consideration at all. that is just very wrong...
I agree that is truly lack of respect and I hope you can get your MP an also Minister Kenny involve and get a quick response..

Charlie: I'm so sorry to hear about what happened with Hubby you guys may want to Consider rescheduling his flight and get him home early, since he's more comfortable being treated in Canada. but he definately sounds like you need to get him treatment he needs ASAP.
