Ok well there is a update for us and nothing special. Great annoyance on our end. My MP's office got a reply from our friends.
So after getting hubbies prints back in Oct/09, they sat with them till Feb 24/2010 when oh hmm we must send these to Canada RCMP.
Email said they are waiting now on the RCMP and their check here. And  due to the issues hubby had here, arrested and charges thrown out it may take awhile. His case is not straight forward. The RCMP  could take up to 6 mths. So looking at nothing more till August if it takes that long for the RCMP.
I asked her what about the fact we already got RCMP check done and he has it in JA she said they do it themselves.
So thats my update. I said to hubby ya its annoying but at least we know what is going on instead of no idea at all.
Well I guess I better start stashing some $$ and head to JA.

Good Morning Forum,

   Glo that is good news for you at least you know something now,and that is all we ask, this is what I don't understand from KG..why they can't just let us know when our file goes past the date on "their"  AOR letter what is going on, our AOR letter has a hand written date of July 28th on it, and they have requested nothing further on our file since December 2, and the IO said to my hubby it was to "finish" the file and here we sit still waiting.  I have emailed them again this week, but at this point have gotten no reply.  Monday I am going to my MP and asking for some help to find out something??   I have watched everyone's filing and tried not to compare, but at this point it just makes no sense when we did everything they requested and paid all fees and yet we sit and wait.  I have often thought, that why can't they update ecas with each file so at least you could know where they are at with your file and put your mind at rest. To me it would stop all the emails, faxes, and anger people keep feeling with every day that goes by with no information as to what is happening.  To me it would ease alot of stress for everyone involved with this process.  We do live in 2010 with everything at our fingertips...just makes no sense why Immigration can't update their system and ease the stress of this process.  Everyday is precious and when you are apart from the ones you love it really takes a toll,  when you have to go through the loss of loved ones alone and have not got anyone to comfort you when you are feeling that loss it really hurts to think that people don't care about the fact they are keeping you apart.  Life can be short and every moment apart is a moment we can never have back!!!   Wish they would think about that too.  We are one day closer but we have also lost one day together and that is so what upsets and frustrates me some days too!!  So ladies and Gents...these are my thougths of the day.

Hey ppls. Long post hey its all good. Lonely bored oh I think we all know that feeling. I just hang here most of the time. Work and Home yahooooo lol.
Today I have some errands to run but thats it. Maybe go visit my friend for the evening. Last night my daughter got me to take her to Shoppers. WOW I had a great time. They had a ton of Kama Sutra items on sale. So yup I did buy of course to add to my "Hubby coming Home Basket" . A weekender one is called and got that for $4 and warming oils for $2.88.  But who knows that may get to be used if I take off to JA.
Your right Mel update the system so we don' t go mad. The not knowing is what is so hard. Any little thing is helpful.  I just hope the RCMP doesn't take forever.

Hope next week brings good new for someone.

Its Monday. Fresh New week. I am so hopeful that there will be lots of updates.

GLO: That is great. At least you know where your case stands. There is movement. And you have an MP to work with if there is any changes. Hang in there girl. You have done the majority of your "wait". Plan that trip to go see hubby it will make you feel a whole lot better.
