UPDATE ..... oh crap, I don't think this is good.

Went on ecase just now and it says "decision made"!

My husband didn't get a passport request (although when he went in to pay his fees - he submitted it anyhow). But still - they had told us that they thought he would need another interview.
Ok - I am panicked right now.... he's so nervous he's laughing .... I don't know what to do!

I put a call into our lawyer and hope they can figure it out.

"Authority Granted for Permanent Residence" whoot whoot. I can't believe it.

Now what? hmmmm... his passport is at the office so I suppose they will call for a pick up.

My daughter is down in the US travelling with her soccer team ... she's going to freak right out!

I really think we just got lucky with an amazing IO who was quick! Praise to jehovah!

Homesoon, I am hoping it's good news for you!!!

I have the guides and applications, I have read the guides front to back and filled out the application forms in good.  We did get the DMP from the list and he is working on getting the medical done.  How long does this take to get back?  

I was hoping he wouldn't have to go to Kingston for the police check....darn!!  it's such a long day for him but if it's necessary, he'll have to do it.

I have phone bills, internet records, I was thinking of getting friends and family to write letters for me....sounds like that would be a good idea.  Also I have tons of photos and the wedding photos.  I've been to JA 7 times in the last year and have all the tickets to prove it! Canadian Customs have been giving me a hard time coming back the last 3 times.  I have photocopied my passport with all the stamps too.

It's a little strange when you know your relationship is legitimate yet you have to prove it to them. We are totally at their mercy!

Quick! I need some opinions. OKay when we were called to provide "orig. documents". We submitted my work benefit info and with him as a dependent also shown on Sunlife website and the original letters and more pictures from our wedding and birthday cards that I had sent him.

Here's the catch. Turns out when I looked at my benefits info they have the DOB wrong. Instead of the 30th they have 29th. Everything else is correct.

Should I fax them the documents with the corrected dates or leave it as is? So far nothing has been said by KG yet. Thoughts??

Homesoon.......OH congratulations!!!!   for you...SO happy for you and your hubby.  Finally at the finish line for you too...such a stress relief I can only imagine.   I sure hope more is to come...I am so sick of waiting for this it isn't even funny.  This can really send you over the edge some days...the damn waiting game and watching how KG works!!!

Now it's sassy's turn. Her bring-forward date is April so I'm praying it will be any day. Maple too!
I honestly think it comes down to the IO in many cases ... some are quick, some are... well not so quick.

And YUP - Jehovah is good....all the time! amen to that. We were feeling so down and out.

Trust me, if we can get through this process, anyone can. My hubby has the most complicated case - 2 removal's - stupid charges from way back when .... we've grown up a lot through the last 17 years. The day he lands ... well i've been praying for it for 15 years. He's never been in Canada the 'straight' way - it's truly a huge deal!
He's asked me not to tell our daughter. He'll likely just show up at her High school and surprise her! that will be amazing!

ok - now we wait for the call .... passport request. I told him that since his passport is there, he should just stop in to make sure it's not ready. He's afraid though that he might loose his cool because the girls at the desk are too rude! He doesn't want to wreck anything
