Good evening all. Sorry for the loss of your "father" Missing. Thoughts are with you and your friends family at this time. To sit by and watch someone you love go through that nasty nasty sickness is heartbreak. Like my dad said to me when my mom passed from that thing. The sun sets and the sun rises honey and we must go on.  Through the tears there will be smiles.

For us there is nothing. I do think we have been forgotten by some lazy slow IO. Would love to ge my  hands on the AOR that they never sent to see the date. No answer this time to my email. And I sent it 2x a few days apart, geez ya think they would have answered me and told me to stop.  Roll Eyes
Angella how did you get to talk to somone in the past?

Well Quiet week. But I am still in good spirits. I know its not a matter of If but when KG will fly di gate. I know that this is the last few months we will be apart. I am having faith. Everything works out when its supposed to.

Glo: I would order caips or contact the MP if I were in your shoes. This is wayyyy too long for KG not to say anything.

I am taking my girl to see How to train your dragon tomorrow. ITS 3D and we are addicted Tongue

Morning all.  LCW  I was thinking on the MP and its good cause I work right up the street from her office. What info do I need to take of course his IMM # but anything else? How do you get the CAIPS notes? I am not expecting him to be here next month or anything we just want to know what is going on.
I think that is the most frustrating for us all. The not knowing and KG are not to good at sharing.  Roll Eyes

Anyway ppl I am off to work we are having a customer appreciation day and I have to set up all the food and what not. My day off and this is what I must do. grrrrrrr.

Okay ladies (and gents).. I'm thinking of ordering the CAIPS report. Yay? or Nay?

I know I'm still early in the game but it would be nice to know what's happening - right? Or maybe I'm just over zealous, I mean things have been processing very good so far. We've heard something every month since we started.

Should I press on and just wait for the process to flow? or you should I be "an inquiring mind" and find out everything I can?

Also how long does it take toake to get it? Does it come via Mail? I'm assuming...

Fill me in!  Cheesy

KC - MI LOVE YUH BAD!!  Mi ah go chat you up this weekend?  zeen?

Well hubby is gonna do the medical and clearance next week.  It just hit him that he'll be leaving the island in a couple of months so he's been spending a lot of time under his favorite tree.....relaxing....lol

Glo - I can advise that contacting your MP may prove to be useful at this point.  Mine communicated with my I/O via email and was always successful in providing a good response.  If your MP cannot be of any assistance, then you can always order the CAIPS notes.  Hopefully you'll hear something soon.

Have an awesome Friday everyone!!1    Grin

Hi HF,

I've ordered our CAIPS notes 2 times. But my Husbands application is complicated with an ARC and we needed an interview ... so I wanted to see any notes before he went in - and now I've ordered again after the interview to see if there were any notes put on file and what the "bring forward" date is.

It is ordered by mail - if you do a forum search there have been many who have posted the process. It's simple. Send $5 cheque/money order to ottawa with two forms. One has all the details of the applicant and the other is the authorization from the applicant for his/her spouse to apply on their behalf.

It takes approx 6-8 weeks to get them back.

The first set I got was mumble/jumble and I had to decode them. But what the first set told me was 1) he had passed the prescreen 2) they received and coded his meds - no issues 3) they were requesting an interview because of his past in Canada and 4) it confirm his relationship details with me and our daughter.

I've read that some others who have more straight forward cases (like spouse being sponsored has never left country or been in canada) - the CAIPS notes are pretty blank.

Good luck! Hope this was of some help...

Homesoon - thanks so much. That was definitely helpful. I guess I really don't need the forms yet. His app is pretty straight forward - Lord's willing. Never left JA and never been to Canada.  Smiley

I, like everyone else, am just looking forward to being reunited with the hubby. Even though I was just in JA in March, I can't wait for the day where being in two different countries is a thing of the past.  Grin

I am waiting till the 2nd of May to  start contacting KG. Then They would have had my file for 6 months. I will be ordering caips at the end of april if I hear nothing from them. Then after that we will be applying for a TRV while hubby is here.

Yes I will be all up in KG's BuM if I dont hear anything by the end of MAY!

So apparently there is a blizzard in Calgary....no gold panning for hubby this week.

Seen Maple... we can chat for sure... love u bad too  Kiss

HF... i would agree that your caipes notes will probably not tell you any thing you dont already know... and with you having contct with KG every month since the beginning is a great start.

lol jamwifey  @  no gold pannin for hubby.... a blizzard tho! EEEk! It is pretty chilly here too... 2 degrees when i woke up this morning...and i dont think its supposed to get "warm" for a while... the breeze still blows cold even on a sunny day.. so until that cold breeze turns warm we are all going to be chilly...i am so ready for summer... i even got my toes done all pretty last weekend...

LCW & Sosizzle... where u dey?
