KC - every time you post a story it makes me laugh! I think we all really needed a good laugh. Your man sounds too funny Smiley

rosemel - Congratulations on the update. Any news is good news at this point. Not sure what it means in terms of where it's at in the process ... but heck, least they're working!

And Soso. I am so happy for you and hope you have a great reunion and many, many, many happy years together. Too bad he's coming here on such a miserable rainy night.

To all the other ladies that are far away from the good news.... keep a positive outlook, our time is coming soon!

It took me all day to login and check the updates, but it was worth it. KC made me laugh, rosemel's update reminded me that things are happening and SoSo's keeps me thinking about that day when my family will finally be back together - forever.
Remember the vows - when I took them 14 years ago, I never knew the bad times would be so bad - but if we can make it through this, we can make it through anything!

Good morning to God beautiful creation, its in deed a honor for us to woke up and our fingers and brains still intact. Proverbs 12 v/s 14 stated that a virtuous woman is a crown to her husband; but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.
proverb 3 v/s 5 also teaches us to trust in the LORD with all thine HEART and lonely; soanious, soso, kc, stressed,maple,rosemel,missingmybaby,jam and all the other members lean not unto thine own understanding, in all our ways ACKNOWLEDGE him, and he shall DIRECT OUR PATHS. OOOOOOOOH i would also like to acknowledge all results for Kingston..........ppl like soso who received her hubby and rosemel who was requested to pay for something.........Its also sad to know most of the time when we do get reply from our email or called is when they want to tell us to pay for something...........thats all in their path money, money, money.......wat they don't of a motive to call these how paid in full?HuhHuhHuhHuh

Hi missinmyboo,

So here is some information from the cic website on ARC's (Authorization to return to canada). Really it depends on how they removed your hubby - was it a departure order or a deportation order.... or just an exclusion order. Reality is, as long as he waited for his time noted below, he will be fine.
So your application will proceed as normal and, should he require an ARC, JA will send you notification when your file is closer to complete. You will need to submit what they request (it's a letter and a simple application) and money of course (gesh!).

When did your hubby go home? Do you know if he had a removal order/deportation order or exclusion order?

Hope the info below helps a little.... but looks like you're doing everything you can at this point and now it's just 'welcome to the waiting game' .... Smiley

Homesoon

Who requires an ARC? (Under the authorization of the Minister of Citizenship and
Immigration)
Under A52(1), a foreign national must obtain a written ARC after the enforcement of any of the
following removal orders:
• a deportation order (lifetime ban from returning to Canada) [R226];
• a departure order that becomes a deportation order (lifetime ban from returning to Canada)
[R224(2)];
• an exclusion order:
♦ one-year ban [R225(1)];
♦ two-year ban [R225(3)].
Before an application for an ARC can be considered, the removal order must first be enforced. A
removal order can be enforced by two methods: either at a POE, or at a visa office outside
Canada pursuant to R240(1) or R240(2). A removal order is enforced under these provisions only
after an officer has issued a Certificate of Departure (IMM 0056B). For further information on
enforcing a removal order at a visa office outside Canada, see ENF 11, section 13.5.

GOOD GOOD GOOD MORNING to EVERYONE
I am just about as happy as I have ever been. My husbands plane was delayed in Kingston, as the passport check in machines were all down, so they had to check everyone in 1 by 1 manually and write out their boarding passes BY HAND.
His Boarding pass looked like it was from 1970. He arrived at the airport at 1:00 and was in the baggage line for 2 HOURS He said the line did not move for at least 45 minutes. Then when he got to the counter the ladie a tell my husband HIM HAFFI PAY $70.00 Canadian. Like She nuh even say who are you, where are you going. She just look pom him and say I need 70.00 Canadian. He was like... YO, my Wife already a sort out di thing... and mi NAH have 70.00 dollar fi give you.

Guess a Guess what the rass CLOT OOMAN a seh to him....
She a seh... Oh well, Looks like yuh nah go again...... and kissed her teeth and walked away. ............... VEX MI A VEXXXX..... yuh a treat my husband like some punk.

SO over walks a big supervisor... and she took one look at him and he showed her his visa...and she was like HIM OK MON.....and put her thumbs up... like good to go....

When I heard that I lost my cool. I am going to be writting Air Canada and mek mi tell yuh sey mi a get my money back for the ticket. What kinda rhattid ooman a try and tek my husband fuh fool. Like him nuh know how deh ting set already. He said he just glared at the badmind ooman and she wouldn't even look at him after.

SO before I go and cuss AIR CANADA for the treatment. Can anyone tell me WHY THEY WOULD ASK FOR 70.00 CAD. He paid everyfee, and was not over weight or nothing?HuhHuhHuhHuh

Glad I got that off my chest.....KC...... FF??? Did your husbands get asked for 70.00 CAD Huh? Mi know seh dat ooman a try fi scam.......

Anyways.... other than that likkle hitch up...everything else went amazing. Flight landed at 750, and hubby was out within 30 minutes.

He walked through those doors and I just stared at him....... It was so amazing. Finally after all this time.. I see my baby on Canadian soil. And he had a smile on big like I have never seen. My Son spotted him and JUST RAN to him.....

I thought I was going to cry.... but SOSO a TOUGH IT OUT... I just hugged him and kissed him........

He said the immigration here was so nice to him, they didn't ask him NUTTIN... they didn't ask about liquor or gift or mek him tek his shoes off. They just asked him where I was and if I was picking him up, and thay said welcome to Canada.
They also gave him a nice red bag full of Canadian goodies....

when he walked out and had to go get his luggage, he said he was shocked that you could just collect your own luggage, He thought he would have to show someone his ticket to get his luggage... So he said he just followed the crowd and saw everyone else just pick up their suitcase... so he saw a bag that looked like his... and he said soso... mi saw the bag go past me...then come round again ..... and mi sey to myself..dat not my mashed up wet lookin suitcase... (cause supposidly he dry cleaned it nice and pretty before he came)

He said he had to watch is again go round the carosel and finally he picked the bad up...checked the ticket and was like... A WHA DEM BWOY A DO WID My BAGS DEM...
It looked rough...I DIED OF LAUGHTER.... cause they just throw them around like nuttin fuh real.......

Anyways he grabbed the bags nad walked right through.... NO TROUBLE...
He said it was so EASY....  His ears bothered him a bit so he di dteh plug your nose trick and pop your ears.... He had a window seat that I pre booked with nobody in his ISLE at all.... so he was good. He watched a movie... and when the lady came by to offer him a drink... He said water please, cause he thought it would cost him money...so cute

WHO encouraged David to continue on?

David encouraged himself! It's great to be encouraged by others when we face adversity......... but at times we will have to encourage ourselves like what David did......... I've acknowledge that he didn't just “encourage himself..........” he “........encouraged himself in the LORD his God.”

We all face tribulations and depression in this life with great opportunities to DESPAIR as David did, but instead of self-pity or giving up, we have to do something brave or worth doing – In the story David chose to continue for the sake of all who would be adversely affected if he quit! He thought of others not himself. Also, he knew his source of strength was God............ So i'm very proud of the group and I give yu all a score of A+ .........Keep up the good works.
