ahhh weekend coming, taking kids to the movies (cheap to do here  ) and maybe a beach flex... we'll see... good luck to all those who are waiting to hear... may today be your day, but if not, next week! lol... for all those who wish they were me.... here's a few things to think about -i looked in our rinse water today and there were things swimming in it... ick!!going without potable water for 4m nw... not fun!!!! i'm 2 hours from the beach.... 20 min drive from anywhere that sells something that isn't on a wooden shelf for god knows how long... we get 2 channels on our TV (when we have power which is usually but not always)... i have to do a grass lice check on the kids at least once a day... our mosquito zapper is our most used appliance... we just killed 6 or 7 chickens so now it'll be a little quieter around the yaad, but i don't think any were the big blasted roosters that make the most noise! at least 3 days a week i don't take off my sweater or socks... ahh jamaica... love it same way, but man i wish i lived in town some days!!! country living isn't really for me! |

up near spalding in the country... about smack dab in the centre of the island... thankfully close enought to mandeville that we can escape and a taste of civilization...
i really can't complain too much... i'm bless to have my family together and the opportunity for the children to experience the culture and life here.... i just wish there was a thai food restaurant within a 10 min walk like back home!!!

Jam - What part of the city is your husband in? I cannot wait till you get here so I can finally meet someone from the forum. And I know someone mentiond having a west reunion I totally agree we need to get together  . Although I have not written much on here this forum was my savior through the process, and everyday I check up and see the updates, and remember the feeling when I got an update big or small it was an update and one step closer to having my husband with me... Since he has been here not one day goes by without saying I cannot wait till the other girls/ guys are with their husbands/wives. Its a long road but worth the end result. |

as i was trying to say.... i would still love to be in JA.... even with some of the drawbacks of living in the country with those dirty mosquitos.... we are having a snow storm here right now.... its so yucky out!
