Omg my patience is wearing thin this not hearing anything from kgn is getting to me I miss my family soooooo much GOD this is soooooo hard

im part of the no patience people posse too. i have none when it comes to this *censored word*, and most certainly not when it entails putting ppls relationships on hold...yea the relationship still continues blah blah....but this is some real unhealthy *censored word* for any human to have to endure.

Distance makes the heart grow fonder....thats was all nice and peachy the first year, now all i can say is F distance!!

Evening everyone - hope you enjoyed the nice weather outside. Went to the zoo and had an amazing time!! and it didn't rain one drop!!

Quick question, I read in a forum somewhere that something has to be written on the back of one of hubby's passport photos. I don't recall writing anything. Just only a date stamp from the photo shop. Is this all that's needed?  Huh

Also, I just took a look at his police certificate, and underneath where the photo is sealed, it was left blank where my hubby should have signed? Oh I hope this doesn't affect too much?

hmm... your file was transferred so im thinking that was something that should have been caught from CIC in the beginning.

but what do i know -

nor im paranoid...those 8 little immigration pics...cant recall if anything was signed on the back of them or not

His name and DOB should have been on the back of one of the photos.  He should have signed the PC.  Neither is a huge deal, they won't send them back for that (my first PC wasn't signed, either).

Question:

what is the nomination about?

Nomination is for persons going through one of the Provincial Nominee Programmes, like Daintygirl, who is Manitoba-nominated.  You apply to the province with proof that you can become established economically in that province, have ties to the province in the form of a family member who meets certain residency and financial criteria and request that the province consider you for PR.  If the province approves your application, you are "nominated" and can then apply to the federal immigration (CIC) for PR with your proof of nomination.

Thanks Charlie. I don't recall seeing those instructions on any of the forms; I swear I scoured the forms leaving no possible room to overlook anything.  Embarrassed

Might have been easy to miss, I think the photo instruction was in the Regional Guide section or one of the Document checklists.

why do i now have this feeling that my application will be returned....

imo long as your file was transferred, you're more or less in the clear no?

Question: when they look over your information as sponsor from CIC, do they even take the time to look at the 2nd part of the step which is your s/0 approval process, and info.

or does the first step on concern themslves with the sponsor?

No, if your file is transferred to KG, they will not then return it to the sponsor.

The applicant's assessment forms the bulk of the processing done by KG, naturally.  At some point, I don't know if it's before, concurrently or after, they will do a review of the sponsor's eligibility to ensure they remain eligible because a family class applicant cannot be approved without a sponsor who remains eligible.

That is stress Ananda... just stress of being away not knowing whats going on, crazy sadness etc. You have no need to worry.. it is highly unlikely that that will happen..

I pray and hope that this process ends quickly for all of us.. This is torture for those living away from their families. I wish it was a way for families to live together through this process especially for those who cant get visitors visas because of applications.. I plan to move over in Dec and listening to everyone here makes it really hard to want to leave hubby..

There's gotta be a better way!

so if i go down to jamaica to wait out some of the stay i could become ineligible, unless: ....

ok, so i stop working and go down there, i have years of employment history, update cv, and quite the interesting employment background.

I get a note stating, we will stay with (for example).....my Mother and have a note written by her confirming, that we are welcome to stay there until we get up and running???

Guess my question is, with the exception of social assistance, how does one become ineligible, when sponsoring a HUsband??
