I have most of the forums and i realize that some persons have waiting for some very long time for CIC, i submitted my medical on May 25, 2012 and i have been waiting since.  I will definately  keep you guys posted with my timeline as time goes by.  hope to hear from persons with my timeline soon.

As for us, kgn called my husband for the ppr personally. He never received any communications from them by email only I did. Also, my hubs applied for a trv in 2009, didn't state he was coming to visit me because his grandparents wrote the invitation letter, but we declared it on our app, and just explained he was going to surprise me with a visit if he got thru with visa. LOL they denied him anyway without interview. So it didn't affect our sponsorship at all.

Good Night Kingston family,

I hate to say it but I think I'm losing my mind. I am constantly checking emails, ecas, the mail  everyday, two, three, ten times a day. I hardly get any work done as my mind is beyond stressed. All I need is a little piece of paper to arrive in the mail (since cic wanted to torture me) to say I'm approved. It was sent from June 27th. Sh-t an email could have made things sooooooooo much easier like my girl ready. Do you guys realize the amount of torture we put ourselves through? I have gone from happy to wondering if I did everything right to reading forums and thinking oh "censored word". And not to mention providing intent to move up there (how do you rent an apartment if you are not sure of a date, didnt think of letting family members write letters, i cud have gotten a million of those) just did the regular looking for work, apartment hunting, etc.

So I know alot of you may have been through the same process of wondering after an AOR and no movement from VO office whats next. How do you cope? Sure wish I cud call CIC but not in the country.

Help a sister out.... Really need some positiveness right about now. Hubby cant help! He doesn't want to talk about it until I have proof.. (doesnt want to build hope to be shattered)


So I turn to you guys with whats left of my sane ness...

Blondie my girl ... I am know how u feel and we all go through that stage where we think did I do this right or did I miss that ... What if I had sent this instead of that.. Drivin ourselves completly insane... This whole process in my oppion is set to weed out the strong from the weak... I think cic n kng does this to test to see who will give up and say to hell with it... But honey hold faith trust n ur love for hubby and know that love and faith conquers all....and honey if u were missin anything or there was a problem I am sure they would have gotten  back to by now... Keep faith

I'm here going nuts myself the whole night I did not close my eyes... I feel messed up inside I know I should not be angry but I am, last night hubbys friend came back to town and he went out partn with him even though he told me was going and encoraged him to go I still feel messed up that he went out and had a good time partyn without me... This seperation is drivn me off da wall... I trust him and know that he was just hangn with his friend but dissapointed n myself as I am it bothers me

Good morning!  Lovely day outside, I hope everyone has plans to enjoy it.

Blondie, if CIC says you're approved, relax and take your mind to the next stage.  The actual letter itself is just confirmation of what you already know, and while I know it's important to have the actual letter in your hands, remember it won't tell you anything new.  Focus ahead on the next stage, which is getting your husband approved. 

Since you are returning to Canada, it is a good time to put your mind to any other proofs you can provide that you will be re-settling.  It never hurts to be prepared to have to provide extra proof of your intent to return.  Even if they don't ask you for it, preparing yourself to move is necessary anyways, correct?  If you're having a hard time looking at being in Canada, remember there is the reverse of that that needs to be dealt with.  Have you sorted out all that is required to leave where you are now?  What about giving up your home, shipping your belongings, taking your kids out of school (I am not sure you do have any, I can't recall) and getting their school records?  What about inoculations, are those up to date for them?  Are there any others required for them to go to school in Canada?  All these are just random things I pulled out of my head, but you can see that they can come up in moving countries, and CIC might be interested to know you have considered and planned for all of these.

RFMO, your feelings are natural, quit beating yourself.  Nobody wants to be home alone while their other half is out having fun.  I used to feel the same (my husband is the social one) and then one day I came to the realization that I would rather he was out enjoying himself than sitting at home fussing at me about why I am not in Canada yet.  Men are mostly creatures of action, waiting is harder for them than us in different ways.  Going out with his friends would keep my husband occupied and out of my hair and I learned to take advantage of my "single" state and go out with my girlfriends or do things I know I couldn't pay him to do with me even when we are together (like go shopping for books).  Believe me, when you are you together again, the little time you spent apart will be nothing compared to that time, and some days you'll wish you had this kind of freedom while married again!

Welcome dainty girl

Well everyone I'm sooooo excited today is the day I'm do laundry and putting new bedding on the bed and will be leavin out in about three hours so I  can check in to the hotel have a swimming with my daughter , relax and hopefully see jamgirl before I head to the airport to pic my family I'm sure I will be on again before I do that tho !
