Hi all.  Away for a few days and you all fill up so many pages takes me a while to catch up!

Anyway, I have an update...CAIPS arrived today...but lawd look like pure nonsense!  Anyone have recommends on where best place to find the code decoder for this stuff?   

And kc, the email I got that redos sent was back in June and pure BS (to get me off their backs I am sure).

What date did you apply for the CAIPS notes??
I applied for mine + FOSS notes on October 13th. It wasn't until Novemeber 3rd did they finally figured what I actually wanted. 

I found a great thread on this site that talks about decoding the notes, I hope it helps!

Thanks Maple.  I had found that page after I posted.  I mailed the request on Oct 22.  I got the envelope in today's mail dated Nov 26. 

I have decoded quite a bit - enough to know that there are no notes of actual action on the application by the IO since March 31 and the MOF completed his reassessment May 11.  There are other notes...about the email they responded to in June, the chnage of address provided in September and October (although ecas still does not reflect)...but not of any true processing (or of sending redos).

There is a BF date of Oct 27/09, which has come and gone and no new notes.

Can anyone who has seen their CAIPS notes assist on few items...

1)  BDEC (background check) is blank.  Not even a 0.  I am thinking that means it is in that phase?  All other DEC fields have 0's (except PSDEC which is a 1 for passed).

2)  Looks to me like my IOs initials are AS...anyone else out there the same?

3)  "Paper file sent to SEG"...any idea what SEG stands for? can't find it on any searches/code lists.  I think it might be the code for "file storage" for Kingston but wondering if anyone else saw same on their printouts.

4) "File BF'D to:  SEL on 27-Oct-2009""...any idea what SEL stands for? also can't find it on any searches/code lists.  I think it might be the code for "selection" (ie IO) for Kingston but wondering if anyone else saw same on their printouts.  In other areas of the printout SEL does stand for selection, hence my assumption.
