Hey guys. Reaching out tonight for some help. Seriously depressed but what can you do. My whole app got sent back in the mail today Hoping you all can help me. This is what the letter states:

1) Your husband has another child under 22 years of age. He must be listed on the IMM8 as non-accompanying dependent. I had put him on the additional family members IMM5406.
2) Passport size photos for the child.......rah rah rah This must be received at this office by 06/21/2012? that is the same date at the top of my letter, which has already come and gone?? Also why are they not asking for his daughters photos as we never sent those in either?
3)An original Medical report form for my husband and all dependents-This is what I figured it would get sent back for so I am asking how to get this done. I have the forms printed from the internet and the addresses in JA where he can go but does he just take them in and what info or documents do they need? How much is the medical and how long will it take to get it back?

Also what about their birth certificates(children) we never submitted these either so why aren't they asking for them too?

For the med. report...my husband paid about 10,000 JMD...he has to bring 4 passport sized photos, identification, and the appendix C Medical form...he will get it back the same day.

   @     chickie......Is ur husbands child living with u in Canada or does he live in Jamaica? Im death afraid....I have a son living here with me...i did not provide his passport photos with applic. will that be ok?

Chicki my girl I am so sorry that totally bites as for what to send back to them I have no clue my suggestion is send everthing u can if ur not sure about it send it better them have more than them need than be short of anything just my oppion...smiles sweet cheeks xoxo

If he had just listened to me in the beginning then we wouldnt be in this position. I told him all along he needed to get his medical done but he said "no i have friends that been thru this before and kingston called them to do their medicals. We dont need to submit them. After you get your approval I will go in and get them done." and look where we are now?? grrrr men.

I thought that the applicant did the applicant at time or before you send the application? My husband did his medical a month or two before we sent the application.

Chickie...you have to send in a complete app. The kids all need passports to go do their medicals, your husband of course has to do his. Maybe your hubby got confused when Kingston orders ppl to get a meds re-do. You have to carefully go thru the checklist step by step to make sure you don't waste precious time. Sometimes men are hard ears, so take charge, and you kno in here we gonna give u solid advice. I'm sure you second try it will be fine!

Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

1. Don't worry about the return date, just get everything they ask for added to the package.  Also, your file will not go to the back of the line when you send it back, there should be a name on the letter for you to address it to specifically, they will pick up from where it was left off.

2. Get photos for ALL dependents, accompanying or non-accompanying.  Never mind that they didn't ask for it, just do it.  It is better to over-provide than under-provide.

3. Medicals must be done for your husband and the children.  He might have heard from persons who went through the Skilled Worker programme, in which case they have to wait until they are told to do the medical.  Family class is different.  If he is in Kingston, he can go to Dr Richard Gomes, his information is on the DMP listing for Jamaica.  Everyone needs 4 photos and their passport.  The total cost for the medicals was $8,600 per person when I re-did mine in March of this year.  Dr Gomes is VERY efficient and he does these medicals all the time.  Within 3 weeks of doing over my medical, KG was calling me to bring in my passport, which means he submitted it immediately.  Dr Gomes will give him a copy of a form showing he did the medical, so that is what you will put in the application.

nuff time 'friends' mistake american immigration procedures with cad ones...u know what i mean..

they think they know what they talking about which they do..but american steps dont apply to Cad....thank god.

thats why im happy my man has one fellow soon come in his district that also being sponsored by his Cad wife  lol

just like how we sit here and chat ray about immigration....they sometimes do too lol which is kinda cute...but least their info not confusing the hell outta one another, or my man for that matter...cause again American Sponsorship and Cad...2 different kekkles of fish.
