Yeah the morning flight will cost me 601 and night flight will cost me 561 so not sure which one I am taking yet, gotta wait until next friday to book as that is my payday  How long you staying down for? I know I am coming up on the 22nd for sure. what website u booking thru? |

they're the sole reason why i havent jumped ship yet...but i never did the sole parenting thing till i moved to tdot....so even if i decided to take a year off....i can be certain they will receive SAME adequate care from their Father..and not have to sweat it...but for my own sense of attachment...no it would NOT be easy.

I am booking straight from westjet, it is cheaper that way, everywhere else I looked was more expensive then direct from westjet or caribbean airlines

lol...ur so crazy....your kids should come firsttt. Just have some faith that ur husband will b here very soon. Its hard, but patience is a virtue....whats a couple months 2 a lifetime of happiness?
I myself have a son that is my husbands child n i cant even go a day without seeing him...how old are ur kids, if u dont mind me asking?

west always pretty decent in pricing....in summer i dont mind flying through US...sometimes ill go thru georgia or philly, ..for the sake of 1 hour lay over time, and saving hundreds SURE!!...but this time i dont see no savings worth my wild, cause keeping in mind u gotta pay baggage with US, so this time around there was no saving to be found..
but i pretty much only do america when i have to leave from other cities that tdot

wtf who said my kids dont come first? ? and yes i am crazy... and last i checked im still here... west indian families are slightly different in how they ALL raise kids, takes a village right?? when u got options, u got options... my kids they old enough and smart enough to understand the flex...but im still here so i dont appreciate my thoughts, being twisted in to 'your kids should come first' ... besides my babyfather born and raised jcan and so is his woman...they going down for months this year...if anything my kids could just come visit ... but at the end of day i allllways come back regardless....im allowed to VOICE what WOULD be nice without getting no fligging of judgmental stones. |

Just wanted to say that all who replied to Ananda's post have done a wonderful job in supporting her through the whole situation. Wish I had you all when I was ready to put our paperwork on hold because you all would have been a great help.
What we must remember is that we have to make some hard changes when it comes to marriage and those changes become even harder when there is distance between the man and the woman. Living in the Caribbean and moving your life to a new country is hard and there will be something's that your husband/wife will do that seem to make no sense at all. Just remember that those actions maybe their way of adapting to the upcoming change in lifestyle. In some ways it is "getting it out of your system partying and irresponsibility". Which is safe as long as he/she is cognoscent of the vows made between the two and the friends/family he associates with does not encourage him to forget his vows and live in the moment.
Ok like i need to stop reading and posting it is 3am in t.o and really need to sleep.
