Yes, those two pics he submitted to the police with his fingerprints go on the police report/certificate.  Below the picture is a line that says "signature of person named" for him to sign on.

soes anyone here know about the process goes to adopt a family member in jamaica my mom wants to adopt here niece who is 11 years old and wants to know what the steps she has to take in order to get it done ... i have been on a few sites and checked things out but my real concern is will she have to get a lawert involved or can she do it on her own without legal representation any help to this question will be greatly appreciated

Amanda, I would recommend that your mom engage legal assistance for it.  The Family Court system in Jamaica is fairly complicated, as I understand, and it might be best for her to have trained legal guidance.  Just my tuppence.

woke up to a bad day today i was so hopein MAY would have been my month but it looks like a negative you would think im a robot cuz i don't sleep much  my mind wont allow me i don't want to sound selfish but i just want my turn to be over and hubby to be here like everyone else im not even goin to lie im hella jealous

Hi Forum Fam,

I have been so busy, just got a chance to relax.

My landing story.
Well I went home after work did a little clean up and fried some festival. Put some wine and beer in the fridge. My hubby said he wanted Kentucky wings and festival.lol

Went to airport with my sisters, stood at the front waiting to see hubby come through, my heart skipped a beat until the doors opened and I see my hubby come through those doors I ran and hugged N kissed him. I asked him to pinch me to see if I was dreaming or not.
My sister was so exited she was in tears. I had family over N friends. We hit the club saturday night. Sunday we relaxed and BBQ. Most of the times I say to him your really here.  I had to go back to work today N I kept calling to make sure he ate. He asked me not to worry to much he is fine.

Just want to say thank you to my Forum Family for helping me in this process.  And to those still waiting before U know it the journey will be over.

Well I'm alive after that long work week and back to work again lol.  I missed our "Jamaica night" hosted by the local Jamaican community. But a bigger one is being hosted in July and I can't wait to take hubby to that one! Would have loved to go saturday, am missing me some good JA cookin lol....  I need to go to yawd, I miss Gramma's cookin so bad. Nothing beats Gramma's soup! Ok I need to stop thinkin of it now lol.

Actually just so you know... they will accept the short form ones at a small cost... you will have to list father as unkown.  THis is what I had to do as I found out at the last minute about needing the long form one and didn't have time to get a long form.  I used my short form one and my certified copy lists my father as unkown.  It isn't ideal, but I am married and that was what was important to me.  Maybe this is what is holding up my application in Kingston now that I think about it

LADIES LADIES - When ya'll want to do it up nice in Jamaica at the nice resort hotels, where do you go for the deals??? Had a few suggestions a couple months ago...but we decided we wanted to do one of those nice all inclusive resorts in Ocho or Montego Bay for our anniversary. Are there any sites for coupon/promo discounts??? Is there a preferred travel agency that has some links?? PLEASE HELP!!!

i have no updated on my e-cas i beileive my vo does not beliveie in them but i did call my MP and 2 months ago and said how there still lookin in to his crimanl  because he did travel to cayman alot back in the day but he has no record over there so i dont see whats takin so long nor does he have in jamaica
