Thanks from the bottom of my heart for all your advice and support over my long process. You are arriving just in time for true spring and will have nuff time to settle in before the weather changes. I hope we get to meet, I am up for a sushi night with wife who is lonely no more and you, I will definately be in touch and we can have a link up and a big hug all around.
To those of you who are in this frustrating process, keep busy and know for real that once it is over and you see you loved ones walk through the heavenly gate at the airport, all the wait seems like it just vanishes. I still look at my husband and get teary eyed when I remember how many lonely days we spent apart BUT it is so worth it in the end. After all, if you can withstand this process, it really makes your relationship stronger (at least it did for us )
My hubby is doing great and loves it here, he joined the soccer leage (sp?) and is loving it!! (they are so lucky to have him lol I will be his biggest fan) we are sending for our dog in the next 2 weeks so our little family will be complete.
Again congrats to all who are being reunited soon and hang in to those who are not there yet. I never recieved A SINGLE UPDATE until he got his PPR just saying...
And sorry to say this, but this forum needs to remain supportive, there is NO room for bashing and NO room for rudeness, shame to anyone who brings those vibes here ESPECIALLY when my girl Charlie just got her pretty passport back with her shiny new visa in it. Peace and Nuff love xo

Sushi will have to be when we are both down in Toronto, lonely_wife and I are both in northern ON, about 7 hours north of you. Still, I am sure it can happen.  |

Well not AS North as you guys but about 2.5 hours from Toronto. We are hoping to come up this summer to visit the not so lonely any more family, Im sure we can work it out. My husband will not even contemplate trying it, but he can eat tempura and rice lol.

I must have missed that apology. If anything it was patronizing. I did not say anything wrong to her in the first place and she was feisty. I realize nuff ppl in here dont like it when ppl are truthful or speak up. I have the right to say what is on my mind. This is why the ppl you dont see on here dont come back because ppl feel like they can intimidate ppl if they dont say something they dont agree with. It is a forum where yes we are here to support one another, and pass info and advice, and I didnt do anything otherwise but I am not going to be bullied by anyone. I walk my own path. |

Whew, that was in some ways quite disturbing. I sat here last evening watching in disbelief the happenings on this message board. I for 1 see this place as a resource centre and a go to place for comfort. If I had known of this forum b4 I submitted my application, I'm sure I would have been landed already as stuff that I should have included in the original app was left out and since being on here, i have realised that it should have been included.
We all have a fundamental right of saying what and how we feel, this right was handed to us at birth, but in every society there are rules, both written and unwritten and we should for most part try to adhere to them. The most infamous rule of them all is "do unto others as you would have them do unto you". We also have a right to agree /disagree as we see fit, but our agreement/disagreement does not make our opinions correct / incorrect and or vice versa.
As a people we should be able to agree to disagree on any point we see fit to engage in, but that does not give us the right to start getting personal in our disagreements.
I wished what happened, never did happen, but it has and we should learn from it. I hope that persons will still feel happy to offer advice and support and that the parties involved can come to a resoultion and be active members of the thread without fear.
That was my little rant for today and I hope that I have not offended anyone in doing so.
