Anada, I had a list of police stations, now I can find it!! maybe saved on my pc at home, I could have sworn I found it on CIC, but now I can't...will check later on tonight for the list of police stations!

hmm...what concerns me is the amount of time the records will take to arrive to Immigration...too bad we couldnt pay them a personal extra as a rush.

cha but i find too many down there are too nuff....they get paid to provide services, and then act as though they are doing us a favor by even talking to us....damn brite.

even in Mobay for our marriage certificate...after a month to prepare it...it was lost on the back of a courier truck for another month.

Absolutely careless, and fulla attitude.

LOL yea, we put express service and it took a month..LOL I just let my hubs handle dat cah mi nuh inna di attitude...Dont risk anything. I can only give you my personal experience. Any advice or warning I read or research I heed di warning, and follow exact instruction. Not sure but I am of the mind to believe thats what worked for me to get thru so quick.

We got married March 26 and it take us til July to receive ours from Kingston...  from that it take us so long to apply for his PR... KMT

weve been married since oct...but didnt apply for it till Jan...and had it was ready within the month....but the fact it was LOST for another month, and we had to play tag with the office and courier, and i had to send madwoman emails......even went as far as to pay a visit myself lmao after the fact lol

he's concerned about the blood test and THC...

I thought he might only have to do the pee test....but if blood is a requirement...(which makes sense)...wonder if we should dry him out longer...cause by the day scheduled to go in for the examine, with much efforts, proper excercise and nutrition, he'll have been 'clean' 14 days.

my husband did not give a urine sample, and THC stays in your blood stream forever (so I hear) , there is no way to conceal ganja if bloodwork is tested it stores in your fat.

hmmmmm good to know he's in the clear as far as blood...but urine....its says 2 week to one month....for frequent users and 3 months for hardcore users.....

in the case of mine, well if u know the size of the rolling papers they got down there, lol....one of those x6 or way more per day.

but since we got married i know he's not as hardcore a smoker, but still frequent like how ppl smoke cigarettes.

WELLL.........all we/ he can do is stick to this strict fitness plan for the next 2 weeks...and follow it through and hope for the best....I know many say not to worry about the THC.....but u know how many ppl down there told me theyve been refused a visa because of weed found in system...unless its cause they were applying for US visa?? or werent married to the sponsor....or are fulla *censored word* and docs fond something else instead ....we dont know.

All i do know is...step by step...right now he flushing out his system...sweating out the *censored word*...excercising, drinking plenty fluids, and this weekend will be buying out all the tomato / cranberry juice in stock to flush out some more....few days before medical he's to ease off the fluides (we dont want to over dilute the pee) and eat a a lot of fatty food to rebuild fat cells, minus the THC.


IM paro...but i was honest with him and told him after the 24th he can start back, on an EASY smoking level....and soon as  i start seeing updates in the system, as to what stage his application process is   @   THEN i will let him know WHEN to give it back up again....JUST in case they want him to do another exam...of a surprise 'drug' test.

i almost feel that if ur man has a certain 'style' or appearance they might auto judge and check for the THC anyways...but if that is really true...then how do all the rastas do it and get through??

Ready, nuh worry yuhself!  That's what we all here for, SUPPORT each other.  Im sure most of us, if not all of us have come across people who feel that every jamaican man is lookin for farrin and jus interest in papers. nuh tru.  It is hard to swallow, especially hearin it from people who we love.  The only thing I think when I hear it now is, "we'll see".  Jus have faith in ur relationship and nuh worry yuself bout da badmind people dem....


 

yup....thats why not one soul came from side of the family to our wedding alllll a bunch of badminded *censored word*ers...another reason why i have a hard time trusting ppl...when u cant even trust those 'closest' to u.

I was left hanging the worst of ways, every way....initially my mother had offered to pay for my WAYYYYY over priced wedding dress...then i guess as she thought and (heard) about the idea of our wedding more, she decided it was wrong, and she doesnt give her blessing or support it..... and 6 weeks before my wedding (after my dress had been custom fit) my dress had arrived at the boutique....she then decided she wasnt gonna pay for it no more .....I told her that was fine...id pay for it myself....when she heard that, she called the boutique to have them send back my dress....but luckily i had called the boutique within of minutes of her to let them know when id be in to pay the balance..they are the ones that told me about my mothers frantic call.....luckily the deposit was under my name...so they refused to return it.

AFTERRRRRRR my wedding....my mother slowly came around.....her guilt paid for my trip down for Christmas...no her and my hubby over the past few months even talk on the phone from time to time....

had a bigggggggggg full blown fight with my cousins....wish i could knock the *censored word* out of each one. had zero support....but i know what i feel...and im one stubborn chick....so i do what i want, and always success (eventually).

but yes....since we announced our engagement...felt like the months that followed all i did was fight ppl.....*censored word* did drive me mad...to the point i just said *censored word* em allllllllllll.

Hard to convince ppl of a love they cant see...but not my problem anymore....and not my husbands either....those who know us, or see us know...those who arent that priviledged...can go suck themselves lol



trust me ive gone through hell this past year....im just now starting to get an ease from what i had to go thru....all that in the name of love...that why when i said i sacrificed.....ppl dont knowwwwww how i mean it. Sacrificed my sanity too lmao

didnt get even one wedding gift....my only wedding shower, was at work...they gave me some cash..

and then when my mother sent me down for xmas.

that was it...nothing. So now i have nothing left to give back either...as far as im concerned....they made their choice, by questionning mine, and as it stands....my lifestyle never did need intervention then...so how dare they play me for a farce....

You know...this past Valentines day...my cousin sent me one message that while her man is lavshing her with gifts...mine prolyl out *censored word*ing someone.....

When i say TORMENT GOD KNOWSSSSSS i mean torment...i feel like i come from the bloodline of satan, cause they all cut from the same cloth....but luckily i was spared.
