Evening People,

LSSO...baby is doing good. Kicking like CRAZY, but that's a good thing. I went to work today and they say I look very big for 6 months. I went to Human Resources and the told me this was not Labour and Delivery. LOL! Oh my gosh! Now I think I'm huge. Oh well as long as baby is healthy. Have not gained much weight yet just my belly is totally out there.

my poor baby have a nappy head lol...  when him born his hair was so straight...  then him grow big curl... now him curl so likkle an fuzzy fuzzy.  HELP!  I wanna do someting wit it, not cut it off.. but it still kinda soft and fine.  Is there anything I can do?  help my nappy head baby please!!!???

Congrats to all those who have received passports with visas!!! Mrslwsn don't stress too much, God will work things out in His time. It is not about who wins in this situation, I guess you are receiving a lesson in tolerance and how you react will determine if you succeed or fail.....I used to be a control freak and a perfectionist until life threw me some major curved balls and at rock bottom I learnt to let go and let God! I have never been happier and stress free!  I am living in the present,not regretting the past or fearing the future. A peaceful and holy Easter to my forum family!  Suki I responded to ur msg but haven't seen a reply from you, hope all is well.  Charlie enjoy West.  Well after a grueling travel day I am finally on the Rock!  I sent my passport DHL this morning, they say it will be delivered Tuesday soooo it on to waiting again.

Jamgirl, I bought this spray stuff for Jazz when she was a baby, mind you that was 20 years ago...but it was in the ebony section of Walmart or shoppers drug mart..."baby love" something like that... it worked for the nappy at the back of the head!!

I love all this baby talk...Amanda do you have some baby news for us??

Basha, Big beautiful belly...and a bundle of joy inside....i gained a lot of weight during my pregnancy, I was 19 and careless...not to mention I drank a litre of eggnog everyday, that's all I craved...my poor mom made me eggnog in the heat of the summer....oh no wasnt just a Christmas drink anymore, I had to have it every day...not reccomended!

Hi suki!!  I am in Spanish Town, had a really busy evening, and just got a chance to catch up with all the great news from today!!

Jamgirl, Johnson's makes a product in their Hair Buddies line, my SIL swears by it for my niece's hair which is thick and extremely curly.  It's a hair softener and moisturizer, makes hair very manageable.  I highly recommend it.  Black/mixed hair requires a lot of moisture, and will frizz because it absorbs that moisture from the atmosphere if it doesn't get enough through the scalp.  You don't want a product that weighs down the baby's hair though, and the Johnson's product is really light.

My son has that nice coolie hair and I fear it growing out cause his hair is pretty so all I use is vatika coconut hair oil which you can find at indian stores. The best products to use for a baby is natural products. This coconut hair oil is the best. It grows my babies hair and keeps it manageable. I dnt think my sons head is gonna reach the nappy stage because this product really does help

The hair will braid it will jus be very fine and thin. If you google online how to care for black babies hair you'll find a lot of info

Good morning everyone!!!

I haven't been on here in so long... I had to catch up and read about 25 pages... Hubby is in bed sleeping and I couldn't sleep cause of my cough so I figured I should check up on everyone!!!

I am so happy to see that there is lots of action from Kingston lately... Congrats to all the ones who have gotten updates.... I love to hear that more families are getting reunited

Also I know someone said they got the taxchild credit and other types of credits cut off... It takes about 2 months or so for the Sudbury tax office to make the arrangements on your file and after that you should receive a lump sum. (perhaps money to go to jamaica ) I say this cause everytime I got a big sum from the govermnement I always end up going to Jamaica...

LOL ya, I am scared to drive in Jamaica because my mind has not yet grasped the driving on the other side of the road thing...so even when I'm crossing the street..I get thrown off when I see cars coming in the "wrong direction" lol ....ya forget that idea...too nervous to drive. My husband doesn't drive..i would like to visit runaway bay or mobay but the taxi fare is kind of steep still. Can you take a bus to those resort areas from like Spanish town??? My husband doesn't travel much lol
