This poem came to mind, when I saw all the updates, I know the wait seem rough at times, but there is growth in adversities......

Hello everyone,

I have spent all day reading and catching up on what I've missed. I am so happy to hear all the exciting news. Its gives me hope to know that my time too will come. When I read these updates I smile and feel joy in my heart. I wish you all the best and I pray that next week will be twice as good as this week. Kingston has made me proud this week, continue the progress.

My husband got the call this morning to bring in his and the kids passports.  KGN with the guidance of God.... you are making dreams come true today that yesterday seemed like would never happen. Six hundred and sixty-three days later... God is so Good!

Keishaycarr, I wish I had a factual answer for you; however I do not. If you ask Canada Immigration it is based on two factors (1) My husband was working in Canada for for a year and half (2) I'm applying for for my husband and his kids.

Truthfully, I think someone made a tremendous mistake over a year ago.  My husband received the same call last year January and they proceeded to hold on to his passport until April, when they called him and told him that the medicals and police clearances expired. When we inquired about why the held onto his passport so long, they stated that they wanted to validate that he was in Jamaica.  Alas, as long as my husband is on his way..... I will excuse their utter disregard for my time, my husband's time, attempt to delay our right to be a family, for now.

I hope everyone enjoyed their St Paddy's Day yesterday, did anyone drink any green beer? LOL.

LSSO, your patience is worthy of Job.  I would have blasted KG to kingdom come over something like that, my tolerance for foolishness and lack of procedures is very short (maybe that's why I'm also an auditor in addition to being an accountant).  When embassies do things like that it needs to be put on full blast.  Supposedly one of the imperatives of the immigration legislation is family reunification in Canada, rubbish like that is why they do not achieve their objectives.  Rubbish like that is why fakers make the process harder for genuine couples every time they change the legislation!  Thank God you and your family see the light at the end now!  I cannot wait for you to confirm that drop off and the reunion plans!
