Hi Hatewaiting. I remember you from the other forum. You had sent in your original documents with your inital package. Welcome back.
Since you have recevied your AOR and already sent in your original documents with your package the next call you should get from them is to bring in your passport...............UNLESS.... you need an ARC, or your medical has expired or they want to request an interview or police clearnace in another country etc.
When did you do your medicals?

hi missing, i did the list in the beginning and then i had saved the list on my computer and then when someone has an update i just go and change it. Then every once and a while i copy and paste it on here.
So its not difficult i just have to remember to update it and if i dont update it that person usually reminds me.

ok thanks frequent and soso regarding that list. I finally got to the link. That helps a lot.
So hubby will take his COPR (confirmation of permenant residence), A bank statement (we just got him an account so he should receive a statement in the mail shortly after a month) and his passport.
As far as the OHIP is concered, i know you have to be here 3 months to receive coverage.. but does the coverage start 3 months after you apply for it ? If i apply for his health card in January will be get the coverage in Feb (3 months after he arrived) or April (3 months after he applied).
I am assuming its 3 months after he arrived in Canada - just wanted to confirm.

thanks for the warm welcome i feel so special..lol..Jamwifey...i thought my case was straight forward...he has never left the country, no criminal background, has 2 unaccompanied kids, paid the full fees n sent all original documents when i submitted the appl!!! i have no idea what the delay could b?!?!? mi just tink sey dem want i email KNG n got the same generic reply that we all get stating the file is with a case officer n will be contacted in due time  i contacted my MP n was advised that i'm in normal processing time therefore i should continue waiting...i told the MP lady that since she's not willing to help me i will never vote in this country again...then hung up...lol..that was a lie though, as i have never ever voted...i dnt even know who the hell they were..lol..i was just pissed when she told me that!!!lol so now i still continue to wait

As far as I can see from others they only contact you if there is something missing, for an interview or to request original documents. I think you will be getting a call soon. KC - Health coverage is 3 mths from day of landing. You can apply right away if you have met the requirements in terms of supporting documents but they future date (ivr code 54) it to kick in 3mths after permanent residence is confirmed. ...got all kinds of codes.
Those are the documents i will be using as well, just waiting on the statement.
