Hey hey canuck!  All done decorating for Christmas?  Enough snow fall yet for the Mrs?  There was a little bit in northern ON and I sent my husband outside to take "some" pictures for me.  He took 2, came back inside and felt that was enough.    Then when I suggested he go out again and take a "few" more, he decided to wait for it to snow some more first.  So, of course, it began raining and washed it all away.

I am not as excited as yu all about xmas...I have never spent one with my husband, so it doesnt hold much joy for me. Lonely time of year for me and the kids. We have no family here either. So I really miss my family in Ja..but so it go

Wow! week is almost done, hope everyone is well. Almost finished with my package...hoping this week I can send off. Tried contacting Digicel for phone records but they said they are not able to supply??? Did anyone have any success with them? If yes, how did you get around it? I think it's strange that they can't supply that....

Good morning forum family, it's only hump day and plenty of week left to unite some families during the cold weather so don't lose faith.
lhnb, I believe Charlie and a couple others were able to go directly to the digicel office which is close to CIC in KG so she can likely help you out. This was approx a year ago though. I believe they went in every month. Most phone co's will only keep records for 3 months so longer than that may be an issue if you're looking for longer ones. I got a cell here that would show caller ID and we got out info with that, cost a couple extra bucks but you can get monthly records that way. We also had a dead period and we sent a note explaining that we had switched to international and could not get records for a few months, the VO is aware of the problems getting digicel records.

mrslwsn, we can all relate to a lack of xmas spirit when you are away from your spouse, you still have your little ones with you so know your spirits will pick up. I hadn't put up any decorations for many years and couldn't find them this year. So had to buy a bunch of new stuff and so another family tradition begins so have faith, you will soon be with your entire family so don't throw all your stuff away.
Well Charlie, the mrs had a short stint of snow but we got rain here as well and most of our lawn is bare once again. Woke up yesterday to find my truck had slidden down my driveway on the rain covered ice and was parked nicely on the edge of the main road. Needed skates to safely retrieve it. Last year we couldn't see the main road for snow berms, ah such is life.
Got the grandkids coming for xmas so this will certainly be a different one for her as we stayed in JA for xmas last year and came up for new years. Headed back down to spend a few weeks and new years eve so looking forward to some beautiful JA sunshine.

I hope this is not a stupid question, completly overlooked this one but do Jamaicans have a "National Identitiy Document" they ask on the IMM008 form...

and....if I'm not using the IMM 5476 form 'use of a representative' do I still have to include the form blank?
