Morning everyone!  TGIF, and I hope everyone has a great day!  Here's a laugh to start the morning:

"There's this drunk standing out on the street corner, and a cop passes by, and says, "What do you think you're doing?" The drunk says, "I heard the world goes around every 24 hours, and I'm waiting on my house. Won't be long now, there goes my neighbor."

Come on, KG, we have heard you this week, LOUDER!   Cheesy NNEEEXXXXTTTT!!!

P.S. 22 days to Christmas.  Shocked

LHNB - On the IMM008 he would only list children that were being sponsored with him.  So if he is the only one you are sponsoring, he does NOT list yourself and his step-child/ren.

However!  On the IMM5406, he MUST list you as his spouse, AND list your child/ren as his step-child/ren.

This is exactly why I love this forum, I did not put my children in IMM5406, I assumed it meant HIS kid or kids from a previous relationship... Pheew thank goodness I can still add them as I havent sent in my package yet!!!..

Lol.. Now I actually have another question too.. I taped my pictures onto a piece of blank paper and wrote below them the date and what /who was in the pic, creating a time line of our relationship. but now I just read in the Applicant Guideline "Note: Photos must be loose. Do not send them in binders, albums, frames or other such containers.Do not send video discs (DVD) or video cassettes. Do not send musical greeting cards or other
similar documents containing electronic or mechanical devices."

So is that not going to work if there not loose? There not in an album, I just taped the pictures onto paper and placed them in a clear like cover?

Awe that sux, that took me hours to do...grrr... so should I just put them in order and write on the back where/what/when and who? I had a perfect little package that I thought would make it so easy for them to go thru.. again like my last comment..THANK GOD FOR THIS FORUM.... Im considering having an immigration lawyer look at my package before I send it off, All it takes is one lil thing overlooked to slow everythng down

Thanks everyone!!

Witty dont lose faith your time will come.

I would love to book my husbands ticket home, however the reality is he wont get the police check at the earliest next friday, and they still have not recieved his medical results. So I think it is unrealistic to think he will be here by Christmas so Christmas is on hold for me until January and I plan to get my tree at the very latest so I can keep it up with all his presents under the tree (winter clothes lol)

Ok Kinston, you heard Charlie NEXT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JillA... I did mine the same way you did it and Kingston did not take the pictures off the white pages... My immigration lawyer is actually the one that told me to do it this way... Since you already did it like that I don't think you should worry about changing anything...

I asked in August thread, but wanna ask you all too!

Question about ecas..

I can look up info with my client id information...only my address appears, then when I look at spnsored person I see my husbands name -Decesion made -and- Application Recieved, I can click on either of them and they give me info...would my husbands address have to appear anywhere or is there another way to look up ecas to get his information? or is this the only way?

I'm a little confused!

thanks peeps

If you use the File # and your sponsored person (applicant) details you should see their address and all entries made .

Welllll... Grin Grin Grin

Apparently Kingston is paying attention to their emails. Based on the track record thus far between myself and RG....emailing them seems to get results. Emailed them about our passports yesterday...dwl...got an email in the wee hours of the morning stating our passports had already been resolved and sent back to us through DHL. Called DHL....they were surprised we called and said they had LITERALLY JUST recieved them from the embassy!! So hubby is driving down to Kingston to pick them up and if he can't make it today...DHL said their head office is open tommorow and they will hold it there for him to pick up. So if all goes as planned...we will have passports in hand tommorow. Thank the Lord!! What a burden liften...a serious relief!! Smiley
