hey LW! hope your hubby had an awesome bday!! my hubby's is coming up on Dec 22 and was already informed by my parents he will be ripped off because Christmas is so close  I'm thinking of having a surprise bday party for him...just not sure if I will have enough free time to plan. the baby is keeping me occupied most of the time. jahlove - glad things went smoothly yesterday! now it's time to start packing hey charlie!! witty - charlie already answered that question for you on sunday That is correct, as you were in Canada they are also entitled to request an RCMP check. From what I understand, these can take up to 4-6 months to be done and returned to the requesting embassy.

ok! thx for that info...I am in Toronto, what are ppl views fedex vs expresspost to send in the app to Mississauga? Good night KGN folks,
Mrslwn I sent my package to Mississauga from Ottawa by Fedex. If I remember correctly the cost was somewhere around $32 or so. Sent it off about 4 oclock in the afternoon and it was signed for in Sauga the following morning.

Mrs lwsn- I used expresspost and it was great. I've never really used fedex for delivery before.
Happy hump day everyone, hoping to see some more updates this week!!!
X-mas is closing in on us very fast so this weekend me and the hubby are gonna go get the kids their big gift that that want. Then its jus small things after that. I wanna get everything done before the end of the mth but I know that's not gonna happen lol

yes, I think I will go with Expresspost. Well my hubby Fedex came today, so I have all his stuff, meds, pcc etc!!!!!! Soon I will have an update Charlie!!!
On a side note, nah go lie, Fedex is da BOMB if you are sending from Ja to Canada! fast 2 days, $3700.00 JMD..I highly recommend!

Ok so sorry last minute double checking...(thank u all in advance for answering and helping me with my endless questions) Slightly confused.
#1The bar coded paper is 2 parts, one page with 6 barcodes, and the next is 2 barcodes and my husbands signature. Now these are both pg 4 of 5 and 5 of 5 respectivley (sp)...so now as I know the bar code page goes on top, so does that mean it come out of the order of that section..as in barcode page, barcode and signature page then the rest of IMM008?
#2 According to all of you, the bar code page is one the top of the entire application, but yet the app to sponsor is also supposed to be on top, So do I do entire IMM008 with barcode on top, then IMM1344 app to sponsor & agree/undertaking, then IMM 5481 sponsorship eval and so on???
#3 Which section do I put in all the evidence like copies of cards, wedding cards, pics, letter from hubby sis & a wrk colleague/friend, letters from kids, xmas cards, anniversary cards, emails, fb, and phone bills.....
Cuz all the evidence is basically joint..both from him and I.
#4 Which section do I put his meds, pcc, bc, pp etc, would that be with the IMM008?

1) Yes.
2) No. The barcode pages ONLY go on top, everything else should line up in the order of the document checklist.
3) You can put the evidence in a section by itself after the document checklist. We did that and just labeled it "Supporting Documents/Proofs" with a content listing and tabs to show the various types: communication, financial, support from family etc etc.
Now....whose got some work for these itchy update fingers? KG, I know you do!! Let's go, KG, let's GO!!! NNNEEEXXXXTTTTTTTTT!!!!!

We got some labels made by the Post-It people, 3M. They had a transparent part that sticks to the paper, and a coloured tab that hangs out that you can write on. Very super-sticky, LOL, I had to be careful to make sure they were on the right page because moving them was a pain! They were also durable, so I know they wouldn't rip off easily from rough handling.

 Wake up, KG!! I say...what date is it?  It's 36 days to Christmas!!! Anyone else put up their tree already? I don't know, it seems to me like some people are kicking off Christmas a little too soon this year. Guess they must believe in that whole "world ending on Dec 21, 2012" thing, and therefore since there is no Christmas next year, gotta get as much out of it this year!
