LOL suki.  It's a wee bit early for you.  GCMS notes (formerly CAIPS) are the notes the various immigration officers involved in processing your file make on the file.  They are supposed to record work-in-progress events such as the conclusion of background and security checks (pass or fail), the receipt of medical results (pass or fail), and the selection decision (pass, convoke for interview, fail) and so on.  If there is an interview, they also record the date scheduled, the concerns to be addressed by the applicant at the interview, and their notes on the conduct of the interview.

In a case like RG's, whose application was filed almost a year ago, it would be a good idea, to give her some insight on what is causing the delay.  For someone who is convoked for an interview, it is a good thing to order if there is sufficient time to receive them (takes about 6 weeks).  It gives invaluable insight into the mind of the case officer, so the applicant and sponsor know what areas to prepare to address at the interview.

What is the best way to order CAIPS?? Is there an express service that is shorter than 5/6 weeks? Thanks...

Not that I know of, BBBB, but there could be. There are services you can use that cost a little bit more than the usual $5.00 but how long the wait is using them is not known to me.  I know a friend used one such service and it took her 5 weeks to receive them via email.

Here's some additional info, as well as links to services you can use:

DOES ANYONE KNOW THE PROCESS OF GETTING A JAMIACAN BIRTH CERTIFICATE AFTER LOSING THE ORIGINAL. WE NEED TO GET IT FOR AN INTERVIEW IN LIKE 4 1/2 WEEKS.

Yep apply online to RGD registrar general of Jamaica and apply for express it may be about $100 Canadian including shipping to ship to Canada if u have a relative in jamaica its cheaper to have it ship there n then sent to u but to be safe do express straight to u in canada express is 3 business days if they can locate ur info base in what u put in the form

Edit sorry for the early morning scare lmao my phone type an extra 0 lol omg so sorry but its not $100 for it that includes shipping to Canada if u have a relative in Jamaica its less that $30 I paid $30 for 2 of mine express in ja then my sis sent it to me

Again so sorry for the typo lol pretty funny tho

THE JOKE IS WE WERE BORN IN DIF COUNTRIES AND THERE IS NO WAY POSSIBLE FOR US TO BE RELATED. THIS REQUEST IS IDIOTIC. BTW HOW DO YOU FIND OUT YOUR BIRTH REGISTRATION # IF U DONT HAVE YOUR BIRTH CERTIFICATE OR ANY JAMAICAN DOCUMENTS ANYMORE?
