I was wondering...my husband's medical is up in November, I am hoping he wouldn't have to do a redo..I checked e-cas and its still the same..however I am going down the end of October early November, I've seen where someone asked about doing the medicals before they request a redo but not sure of the procedures..should I wait until they request a medical redo? even though he did his medical in nov 10 we didn't get to send off the complete application till February this year, it was then return March, I sent the documents back in April, got approved on the 27th and the documents was sent to KGN in May.

Any advice? I will be in KGN for a few days and hubby is one a dem man deh..with an impatient wife who nuh stop nag nag till it get done but him will tek him own sweet time..not to say he doesn't wanna come up..but is d fuss man me see nuh waan come a foreign..a me one a kill up miself! So while I'm there I can get things done.

Danielle..we were going to try the TRV as well but got persuaded not to..we just decided that I will visit as often as I can! I'm going down for our 1st Anniversary! soo excited!

as for the meds up to you if you redo you are taking a chance but the good news is if you redo and it comes to the point where they ask for a redo it would have already been done sent to POS and ready for them so it shaves off the 3 months time i think Kuma wen thru for her redo

When mr propers IO called him he mentioned redoing the meds on his own and she advised him not to. She said he doesn't know if they will request a certain doctor. I would never wanna pay all that money for them to object to it since they send certain forms. Ours is up oct 29 and if we have to do a redo I'm hoping we get the redo form asap!!!!

Holiday plans on the Jamaican side, what is everyone up to for the Heroes' Weekend?  I was contemplating heading home for the weekend, but it is promising to rain and I am not sure I want to be racketing about the south coast in bad weather.  North coast I wouldn't mind, at least the roads are decent.    Whatever you do, be safe, have fun, and remember your heroes, living or otherwise!

Sounds like a plan, I also took some copies of my email inbox where it shows rows n rows of date emails generated from my husbands email..instead of printing them all out, I figure that sums it up a bit too...

Good morning forum family and a big hail up to Maple, how you doing mi long time friend, good of you to come back for a visit. As you I remember when we joined this thread, we were dodging a anal detented sam as i recall. Lots of our friends still come on from time to time to say hello, haven't heard from jammy though since she landed last year..
Congrats to those have recieved some updates, we all know it is always good to see movement. It has been a typical fall out west, the mrs looks out disappointed we haven't got snow yet. As she arrived in Dec I would have thought she'd have had enough for one year but hey. Charlie thanks for the joke, will certainly hang on to that one. Those in CA have a great short weekend and those in JA remember that you have many hereos in your life, the best ones are never far away.

Hey hey canuck!  Yeah, we blew a tire on our last trip too...plus I'd be taking the bus this time, and my nerves are getting too old for the hijinks of our public bus drivers.    Think I'll stay home and enjoy some quiet time, maybe hang out with a friend I haven't done anything with in a while, if I can convince her to come out of her house, LOL.
