SQ- yer right it is money we don't have, now its another xmas, another birthday and another new year without my other half. I can't even wrap my head around everything that's happ today. Everyday I'd wake up wondering will this be the day? But now I know for sure it won't be for a long time. Ugh something good happening in my life for once would be really nice, I'm so tried of always getting bad news!!!

Thanks you to everyone on this forum cuz without you all honestly I'd literally go crazy. It means a lot to me to have all your prayers and well wishes!!!

I origninally posted this on sept 22 for MRS PROPER....not sure if you saw it...so re-posting

MRS PROPER...my meds expired in June...KGN called me June 15th to advise me, they sent the re-do forms (with my photos attached and form already filled in with my name, address, file number etc.

The doctor sent it straight to Trinidad from his office, Trinidad rec'd it on August 24th and i got the call today (sept 22) from KGN.

Please note that the time delay between the first call in June and when TT actually rec'd it had to do with post delays from Jamaica to Canada and the fact that I did not do the medical until a few weeks after i rec'd the re-do forms.

In actual fact, the timeline from when TT rec'd my medicals to when KGN called me was only 21 (working) days.

If you have any other questions please do not hestitate to ask

Still awaiting to here from KGN. My husband has steadily calmed down. He has been anxious a few times, but we're leaving everything for God to take charge. Can't wait to see him in November to celebrate our 1yr Anniversary. I have so many surprises in store for him. At times I feel it for him. He says I take so long to see him. Work is hectic! It's not easy to get vacation permission. I'm dealing with seniority. I try to visit every 3-5 mths. We keep in touch daily. Can't wait for my husband to step off the plane and arrive in Canada one sweet day. God Bless everyone. I wish I could keep in touch more often, but I don't have a computer at home. I'm either a work or sister's house using the internet. God Bless you all. I enjoy hearing the wonderful stories and encouragements. Keep it up. It's strengthens.

MKD- thank you so much, that does give me some hope. My fingers are crossed that it doesn't take 3 mths. I know the day he gets the form for re-do he will go that day for it so hopefully this time around it will go smoothly!!

iambless, CONGRATULATIONS!  You are giving me hope that we are getting my hubby's passport just around the corner... yay!  Just curious did you also have to send them a copy of your flight or anything after you received your passport back?

Happy Friday forum family and a big congrats to iambless. Get to hanging the mirrors.and a couple there important items. Now a smart border guard is something we can all relate to!

A man on a bike was stopped at the border by police assigned to investigate goods transported across both states. He carried a bag of sand. On perusing through however, the cop found nothing else in the bag and therefore let him go. The next day this man was stopped with his bike and a bag of sand and the same process carried out. Again, he was let off when the cop found nothing illegal. This sequence carried on for three years. One day both men, the cop and the bike guy, met at a pub. Happy Friday evening, everyone!  Close of another semi-quiet week from KG.  Let us hope applicants who don't know about this place got reunited with their families thanks to KG this week! 

I hope everyone has a great weekend, enjoy whatever your plans are!  I know a bunch of us will be watching Dexter on Sunday, I can hardly wait to share everyone's thoughts!
