Glo...first congrats on the email response, it can be such a relief just to hear something. but are you one that needs an ARC or anything special cause i don't see why it you have been processing for so long why it would be much longer?

No idea we were told no by the immigration lawyer and hubby did wait out the full yr was up until applying. So I don't know I guess we will know when the time comes. Like I said before we were also told no reamittance fee of $1500 BUT who are they kidding.  So  now we just wait.

Missing...yah about one month we also had about 2 weeks left till our 60 days was up...

So yah 1 month later what you know ..the call ..i also kept buggin them with my MP and emails so i dunno if that made a diffrence ...but bwoy missing i am glad that you sent your email ..because since you did them nice as pie and  give you nuff info ...

Glo i am glad you have got ur email and its good them answer you not ignore you ...I hope it soon done for you as well...keep faith that your time will come soon and if a month goes by again and nuttin email them RASS ...Keep on pushing the emails ladies cuz missing made me realize something we have a right to know whats going on!!!

Lonely...yes mam...those are our husbands and our future information is our right and i will push til they kick him out lol  

Glo.....hhhhmmm i don't know then cause my hubby was sent home on an exclusion order and we filed right away, his year will be up in march, but they said if his file comes threw before then then he can come back....but as we all who really knows with them...all i can say is be your own advocate and stay on top of them.

Heelllloooooooo everybody,

I am finally back on this very hard to use website. I hardly ever check the email I used on the other imm website Mrs. Sam infected and therefore, didn't see Maple's email till 2 days ago when I was looking for some course documents in my gmail account.

Well, there are over 80 pages of information and must I say there isn't enough time on my hands to catch up with everyone. I therefore, ask for your patience and forgiveness if I am missing certain aspects of your case.

However, on the bright side I see some improvements with a few cases and I have to shout out big congratss to all of those folks who are nearing the end of this long journey.

I was shipped back to GT in ealry January and my application has now entered the complex case of handling a deportation in addition to the regular sponsorship. Still haven't heard anything from POS yet but I am hoping they will give me some sort of news in the coming days or weeks.

Anyway, please keep in touch all of you. I will be checking back on a regular basis now.

Good morning all,

First congrats to lonely, I know how your feeling right now.  Kingston seems to be finally on a roll.

Hubby received call on feb 1 to pick up passport, he now has passport in his hands.  Ps. pick up document is only in afternoon, he had to wait all day.  He was given back all the proof that was sent in with application ie. letters, pics, cards.  Hubby will be landing on friday, cant wait to see its been 5 months since i saw him.  My ocas was finally updated to say meds received, decision made.  

For those needing ARC, my hubby had a 1 yr exclusion order that expired a month after they asked for letter and fee exactly a yr ago.  In may he received call saying he doesnt need ARC but he had to pay new fee of $1500 even though he paid his fare to leave on his own.  He was asked to bring in the balance $1050 and pick up meds/police check redo.  He did RCMP check here and sent it in with application.  Permission letter for his daughter was signed my mother and notorized as well as DNA test because his name was added a few yrs ago to birth cert. I tried to cover all the bases so that they wouldn't be sending for more info. We didnot receive any request for anymore info about anything including proving relationship. This may it more stressful cause I didnt know what was happening or why it was taking so long.  I think we just got a slow officer.

I wish my husband would get the call to pickup passport today and he could come home on Friday...flights have been going up in prices all week but Friday is still cheap!!!

Confused... wha gwan. Glad to see you back... sorry to hear about the troubles that you are dealing with... hopefully soon you will be back here in Canada! I use to talk to a girl who was sponsoring her husband through POS, it is real tough going through that embassy... we complain about the KG embassy but POS is even worse.... hope you get a break a long the way!

Well family.... looks like KG is responding to some emails which is suprising and wonderful.... they are getting back quickly and they seem to give some information which is great... looks like you ladies told them strait....
