MrsLwsn- my hubby is from mobay as well. I envy you right now being able to cuddle yer husband, wish I was able to right now  When I sent my paperwork I did not send no western union receipts at all and none of my family members wrote anything. Being together 6 years I feel would be enough evidence. I sent letters, emails, cards, phone bills, 75 pics and pictures that my oldest daughter drew for him when we first met. I dint over do it but it was straight to the point and very well organized. Well I'm off to bed everyone, tomorrow is tuesday and I'm hopeful KGN will start tomorrow off with a bang!!! |

Good morning forum family and welcome to our newbies, stick and stay as Charlie would say. Actually our weather out west has been pretty nice, mid 20's during the day and 10 at night so welcome to our indian summer. Bought a wood splitter on the weekend and created a wood monster, the Mrs figures her 'electric axe' is the best invention ever, as for me, I was a happy guy when both of my chainsaws quit. A couple of landing stories and a wedding update should be coming our way this week, well lets start out shorter week ( for some) with a little humour
Two high school sweethearts who went out together for four years in high school were both virgins; they enjoyed losing their virginity with each other in 10th grade. When they graduated, they wanted to both go to the same college but the girl was accepted to a college on the east coast, and the guy went to the west coast. They agreed to be faithful to each other and spend anytime they could together.
As time went on, the guy would call the girl and she would never be home, and when he wrote, she would take weeks to return the letters. Even when he emailed her, she took days to return his messages.
Finally, she confessed to him she wanted to date around. He didn't take this very well and increased his calls, letters, and emails trying to win back her love. Because she became annoyed, and now had a new boyfriend, she wanted to get him off her back.
So, what she did is this: she took a Polaroid picture of her having sex with her new boyfriend and sent it to her old boyfriend with a note reading, "I found a new boyfriend, leave me alone." Well, needless to say, this guy was heartbroken but, even more so, was pissed. So, what he did next was awesome.
He wrote on the back of the photo the following, "Dear Mom and Dad, having a great time at college, please send more money!" and mailed the picture to her parents.

Hey Charlie D...girl wouldnt in process be a good thing? Mine just says decision made for the sponsership part, and the Jamaican side says application recieved. Sooo I would think in process is a good thing !!!

Hey SQ! How was the little one's back to school? Is she in school, I think she is..hmm...senior moment...  Anyways, yes, it says "In process" but I can't get excited about that because it says "We started processing XXX application on May 24, 2011". Seeing as they got my file May 19, I hardly see how much processing they did in 5 days, haha! I mean, this IS KG we are dealing with here. I think what happened is May 24 is when they created my file at KG, and that is what they are calling "in process" these days. Technically, KG got your file before they did mine, so if they work in at least something approaching a linear fashion, you might find that your application is finalised before mine! We will see...the ways of KG remain a mystery, and this latest business with eCAS is not helping, LOL. |

UPDATE ; Hey everyone just a quick post to say hubby is landed he came in on Sat sept 3 @ around 5:30 pm got through the immigration stuff quick and painless got his welcome to canada package. Im so thankful our baby loves him she follows him around the house wondering what hes doing all the time Hope every1 is good Congratz to any updates(when I have time I have to catch up) Ive been so busy with hubby coming going back to school, but life is great

Yay lonely wifey!!! I was waiting for you to post something!!! So glad that the baby loves him and follows him around. First time I brought our daughter to jamaica he couldn't even walk past her without her putting her arms out for him to pick her up. It was so cute, she was attached to his hip. So happy for you and yer lil family.
