Thank You, Wow! I guess this adds an additional wait time for my husband and I.  It`s not always easy to accumulate enough vacation time to see my husband and the cost does make things easier. Know all of this, I guess I can expect my husband 2012  , is that case? Is that what I should expect? How do I get a hold of an MP? |

Irving I feel yuh girl, mine and mr propers 5 year anniversary is aug 17 and yet another anniversary alone. It does suck but the only thing that gets me thro the day is knowing that this will be the last one we spend apart. We haven't seen eachother since our last anniversary so its getting harder and harder for us. Well there's always next week! hope everyone enjoys their weekend!!! |

Hey charlie, can you shed some light on the whole ordering of caips notes. Not sure how I order them or how I pay for them but I think its a good thing for us to do now to figure out what's the hold up. Or if anyone else can shed some light its greatly appreciated!  |

hello everyone!! jahlove - glad you're doing ok. I hear ya, time does go by and we age every minute lol still keeping my fingers crossed for you. Hopefully things will be sorted out soon. The little one is doing great, thanks for asking. I think she's going to be a gymnast, she loves sommersaults (sp?) and dancing around irving - aww thanks! anything to help if I can. I'm glad you contacted your MP and they are looking into it for you. I never had to get a consent signed for that either. It is my understanding that they can get CAIPS too, not sure if they require the consent for it or not, but I believe they can get it much faster. Even their inquiry gets the IO to look at the file and hopefully get moving on it. I hope it get's your hubby a PPR call!!! And I'm doing good, thanks for asking. Time is winding down....only 9 more weeks left until my due date  psalm - nobody can tell you how long it will take, KG is very unpredictable. For myself I gave it at least a 7 month wait time and tried my best not to worry in the meantime. Lately it seems most cases are being finalized in the 8 to 10 month area. Since you recently applied (I think March 2011) contacting your MP may be a little pre-mature. To find your MP you can google MP in your area and they should have a website you can go on to get the contact info. Or ask someone in your neighbourhood who that may be and google them. I googled mine and found the contact info, emailed and got a response right away. Others have called the office and some have even gone to the office personally. It's up to you what you prefer to do. charlie - how are you? hope you're feeling better and you've got some good books to read for the weekend! |

Morning everyone! Hey Nae and your little gymnast! Get that girl ready for the Olympic team.  I am doing better, thanks, still not 100% but soon hopefully. I do indeed have a few good books to read this weekend, including one from my favourite author, Dean Koontz. I saved it for last out of the books I bought for my birthday present for me. Hi everyone, hope everyone enjoys/enjoyed their holiday. I sent an email to Kingston asking about my application because it has been about 1 year and couple of months since they have the application. I received a telephone call saying that they received the mail but there is a backlog because they are working on the temporary visas and as soon as they are ready I will be contacted.
This whole waiting is driving me crazy, I miss my husband so much I can't wait to go home.

Mrs P, hang in there. I fell you though. Last month was our 4th anniversary and we spend it apart, but true that it was the last time. I hope M. Y will come for my bday next month, but i doubt it... He re did his med in march, and still no news. My MP sent a request to Ottawa to know if it was showing in the system at the end of may and their answer was no. Then she email KG like two months ago and still no answer from them. We will be hitting the 19 month mark in like 10 days... Only thing to do is keep faith and keep your head up! Congrats to highlyfavoured! |

Oh my goodness yardiemy 19 mths?!?!?! Wow I give you some serious props, cuz I'd be out of my mind!!!!
I hate hearing that there is a backlog, doesn't make me very confident ugh! Kgn we have lotsa families that need to be reunited, let hope that this weeks a lot of happiness for us all that are waiting!!!
