Will we haven't heard from little johnnie in awhile so here goes

Well, Little Johnny is hopping up and down in his seat trying to get the teacher to call on him. But she skips him again and calls on Billy. "Is it a peach?" Billy asks. "No, Billy, I'm afraid it's a potato. But I like your thinking," the teacher replies. Here's another: it's long, yellow, and fairly hard."
By now Little Johnny is about to explode as he waves his hand frantically. The teacher skips him again and calls on Sally. "A banana," she says. "No," the teacher replies, "it's a squash, but I like your thinking."
Little Johnny is kind of irritated now, so he speaks up loudly. "Hey, I've got one for you teacher; let me put my hand in my pocket. Okay, I've got it: it's round, hard, and it got a head on it." "Johnny!" she cries. "That's disgusting!" "Nope," answers Little Johnny, "it's a quarter, but I like your thinking!"

Hi CharlieD10, u need to update my record. My hubby redid his medical and police clearance on July 1st, on July 14th they took his passport and told him they will call him in 4 weeks when his medical was received from Tinidad.

nope Mrs P once he has his PR and a valid jamaican PP he is good to go as long as you are taking a direct flight if its connecting and lands in the USA he needs a USA visa, but more than liklely when traveling with kiddies direct flights are the way to go

Mrs P, if Mr P has never held a US visa, it may be best to wait at least a year before applying for his US visa. Reason being, they are not going to be satisfied with his ties to Canada if you apply soon after his arrival, even though he has his family in Canada.
In the past, persons used to apply for a US visa soon after being admitted to Canada, and when they were given these visas, they used them to over-stay in the US or "run off" in the US, so the US tightened up on the controls, and began denying a lot of visa applications made by new Canadian PRs.
If he has held one before, then I suggest you re-new it before he leaves Jamaica.

No he hasn't, thanks for the info charlie. We weren't planning on going for a while anyways I just do a lot of shopping there since I'm like 15 min from the border. Guess he won't be going with me anytime soon  that's ok tho we can wait  |
