ok forum i need some help on this one:

good morning.  I am very confused.  I got an e-cas update this morning saying decision made so i got excited and checked e-cas myself.  when i checked it there were 2 updates.  first one said my application was withdrawn on June 15th and your file was closed.  the 2nd one says a decision has been made and the office will contact you.   What does this mean? i didn't withdraw ....I'm so confusedd and not sure if i should be ecstatic or ready to debate the issue with CIC.

what do you think forum?

yea, DM is good but not WITHDRAWN.  that is hubby's status on the e-cas.

TOgirl - IMO, you definitely need to have that out with CIC.  If you or your hubby did not withdraw the application, something has gone wrong with your processing, and they need to fix it ASAP.  You may need to send a case-specific enquiry to KG bright and early Monday morning.  Ensure that you give them the details of the updates on eCAS and express clearly your confusion with this update, since you did not withdraw your application, and further they are saying a decision has been made.  A decision would not be necessary if you withdrew your application.  In your shoes, I would get some kind of clarification on those updates, but that's just me.

tks CharlieD.  I think it's an error but bad timing.  they requested hubby's pp and have had it now for 3 weeks.  i guess im dreading the possibility that they return pp with no visa.......that would be devastating     it's kinda like leaving us in suspense until we get pp in hand.....very cruel

TOgirl... OMG that is very confusing indeed... Freaking Kingston they are so unorganized and unpredictable... but I would definatly do as Charlie says and send a case specific enquiry and I would be calling the call center monday morning and also showing up at the MP office... Girl imma keep you in my thoughts and prayers...

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATEg'morning everyone.  looks like CIC notice their error and I got another update today showing our file as "decision made".  I am so glad that the VO corrected the error and it updated before Monday.  So glad cuz now I can truly do the happy dance 

Hubby's coming home.  We are planning him to come this week so he should be here to enjoy next weekend with me.  this is officially my last weekend alone.

happy fathers day!!!  Hubby will consider this a great father's day gift when he calls me....he better call any minute now.
