I'm thinking about April next yr (fingers, toes and titties crossed)....mi cant drop inna di weather suh, mi fraid a cowl bad u nuh...mi nuh know how mi a guh manage dun suh  ...and if I dont get thru by Christmas...which seems virtually farfetched seeing that we are yet to medicals.  ...then i would have paid mi daughter's school fee already so I would let her sit out that term..... Mail some snow fi mi...mi feel u'll be seeing a white Christmas! |

(jammy.... in canada it's day, month, year... so that's sept and it's a VERY easy mistake... i've lived in the US for awhile and always get it mixed up until i learned in canada it's smallest first to largest (meaning smallest duration of time... ie a day... then the month is longer then the year (that's the way i remember)... in the US it's the way you'd say it if you were reading the date from the calender..) sherig... absolutely right, you'll get thru same way... I know what you mean about school fees too... when we found out we were leaving in may i refuse to pay the full term.. i gave them some and promise the rest... (the some i gave them was just the amount to carry to may... and they didn't get the rest... fair to everyone even tho i'm sure they'd disagree lol)... oh and i think edmonton gets like 2 weeks of summer/hot... lol |

Hey all you fine people. Welcome to all our new family members. Missingmyboo thats awesome news. They really need to move the 2008/2009's out. I haven't read about our friends at IMM but I think it will be interesting to read so thats my agenda for after. Jammy you are on the way thats great, the last step. Hi gang and welcome to our new family members, may your stay be short and sweet. I lived in Edmonton for a couple years and actually the weather is pretty nice. Don't get the chinooks (warm wind) that Jammy's gonna get in cowtown but still decent. Usually only a foot of snow or so. It was +26 celsius yesterday in Edmonton so you don't need to worry about it. It gets friggin cold in the winter though. I left Mobay at +32 last Jan and landed to -35 6 hours later. Talk about a culture shock

Good evening Forum CONGRATS Missingmyboo... Finally you are on the same page as I am... Hopefully everything sorts out for both of us and our men are home for xmas I pray for that everyday!!!!! But IF not...I will be flying to JA NO MATTER WHAT we will be together this year!!! KG is not going to stop everything Welcome to the newcomers....best place to be while waiting for your process with KG SO much support and great people on here and I have made some wonderful friends that I will continue to be in contact with long after this process is done SO we are going to be 19 days tomorrow until our day...I want to share something with you guys..lol.. Hubby uses Claro phone for calling me, so we asked them for our records for the interview ...ha ha ha..we had 8035 entries and when they emailed it to me the other day...ha ha ha ha..it was 324 pages long......so KG wants proof!!!!! Man even I was shocked..lol. Oh and I also wanted to tell everyone ...I LOVE my new job and the only thing missing in my life to make it complete is MY FAMILY and my hubby keeping me warm during these cold nights!!!!! My fingers are crossed for more great updates!!! GLO you need that call!!!! and Jammie..bring me a NICE xmas present (wink) and I am NOT even going to mention the Audit!!!!  BIG BIG CONGRATS TO LCW on the smoking ban!!!! |

Morning everyone. Got hubby off to the airport OK, but things got rough after he landed. His (don't mek mi cuss badwud) father didn't come to pick him up, claimed he was waiting at a friend's house 15 mins away from Pearson because the flight was "delayed" (damn lie, di flight less dan half hour late!) and then when he didn't hear from him, he went back home without him. Hubby had to get a bus from downtown up to northern ON, when I called him this morning 5:30, he was waiting for the bus to take him on the last leg. Anyways...missing, congrats on the update!!! Welcome to the other newbies like miself Soon Friday...where the hell is Flow wid mi internet and home phone? Mi need fi talk to mi husban! |
