Say, here's the deal. I'm mexican, and I got a friend who went to a canadian boarding school. The idea is to visit her, but i dont have a visa. Now, said school lies within a mile of the american boarder, and said boarder goes right through the town. My question is this: would I be able to visit her without a visa, assuming I stay near the boarder? I would be staying on the american side at night and would only visit for a day or two.

You need a visa, you have to cross at a Border Point, you wander into Canada, good chance you will be picked up.

Disregarding actual legal standings, and going simply for actual practices, do you think I will be asked for my visa, in an area that houses a boarding school noted by the quantity of exchange students it houses?

Well, there goes the idea then... I hope the process of getting a visa isn't too bad or slow. Thanks for bothering with me.
