my 14 year old may be getting some detention time (1 year) and he will miss the medical exam scheduled in two weeks, theres no way they will continue his case, no way they will let him out to go get medical, what are my options . will i have to wait til he gets out to file for PR? i am filing spousal out of country pr. i understand that if i dont get his medical done at the same time as ours and send them all in at same time i forfeit right to bring him to canada when he gets out of detention, i am hoping there is a loop hole or something that i can fall back on for this one. if we go forward as planned but without his medical, will he just not be able to come as a pr later? ie no medical no school etc? but still come as a visitor?

If he is not examined, you will not be able to sponsor him.  Keep him home from school for the day and send him for the medical, THINK.
