Why not? As long as you are a good communicator and done the necessary certification and educational upgrade. I dont see any stumbling block in your way to become whom and what  ever you want to be in this world. The world is a global village irrespective of colour, sex, language, religion, and region. Be whatever you want to be is your statutory rights

Is the Ethiopian consulate going to hire you as a teacher?  You can try it, maybe they are big enough to have a school for their staff.  I would not know.

If you want to work as a teacher in a Canadian school, you should first contact a teachers association to ask if they think it will be easy for you to get certified as a teacher in Canada.  If they say no problem at all, then you can apply to schools with that information.  With a job offer, it is easier for you to immigrate or at least get a work permit.  If they say no, you must upgrade by taking a year or more in a teachers college, then you can apply for a student visa to do that.
