I am looking for some help, a point in the right direction(s).

I am Canadian, born and bred.  My fiancé is American and is currently living in the States.  We plan on getting married in about a year.

My fiancé would like to see about getting a working visa in Canada and moving here before then.  I live in Saskatchewan, you can't drive down the street for help wanted signs...there is a LOT of work here.

I guess what I'm asking is, where to start and how?  If we want to try the working visa route, so he can move here before we're married....how do we go about that?

And, in terms of getting married, what are the steps we're going to have to take there as well, to get married, being a Canadian and an American?...and look into him getting citizenship as my spouse?....and will all this be any different if he's here working under a workers visa?

Any help would be so much appreciated....I just want to make so sure we go about this right.

Thank you!!

It seems there are many Canadians marrying US citizens and moving to Canada.  Good luck.
