just received passport request

I just received a email today from LA office... They finally asked me my passport and $490fee

They only gave me 15days to send my passport to LA office.
there are 2ways how to send it
Option 1: via USPS (I think it is impossible in Canada)
Option 2: any via courier service

Please share your experience...
how to send it?
anyway by USPS?
What service company you used?
how much it cost?
or any kind of experience...

yep. I applied long long time ago.... so not same as current applicants, cuz my file were transfered to LA.

Anyway here is (but I am not sure exact date)

Visa Office......: LA
App. Filed.......: almost end of September 2010
AOR Received.: Mid of february 2011
File transfered: early May 2011
Med's Request: Mid August 2011
Doc Request: same date as Med request
Med's Done....: 13-oct-2011
passport request: 30-nov-2011

You can use Canada Post express mail (which hands off to USPS) but I have not found their tracking to be reliable once it crosses the border.  I would recommend Fedex for the tracking (as well as the speed).

Hello friends

I got passport request also last October 25, 2011, and i have to send to passport within next 30days. But I read the email Nov 29, 2011 and sent my passport on the next day to Fort Erie visa office. 1 month have already elapsed since i sent my passport.  Am wondering if they will consider my passport even its already on due date? and do you think it will affect my application and will be denied because of this issue? Am really worried.

No, they won't reject you because you submitted the passport a little late.
