u r rght its 46 kg / person i m traveling from new delhi. other thing what about funds will it be fine to carry cad$2000 cash n remaining about 6 lacs rs in form of bank fixed deposit statement or need to carry all cad$17000 in one or other form.

I also paln to fly to Vancouver from delhi around 16Aug. Kindly guide me how to prepare the list of items that we are to carry and show it to customs people at the time of landing. I am suppose to carry CAD 20000 for  a family of four. Kindly guide me , what is the cheapest way of taking funds to canada. Also let me know, whether I should get Insured for 90 days from India or from Canada itself, as someone told me that If I get insured from India, then deductibles are more . Kindly guide me
