I would wish to know what employment background check is all like. I have read in some articles that chc's make physical site checks, make phone calls etc. What other things do they do? I mean like to they verify whether the company was legally registered? Do they write letters to the company you claim you worked for seeking specific information? What questions do they ask employers? Well am asking those members of the forum who have had this part of checksdone on them.Kindly shed some light on what transpired. Thanks huge!!

Hey Tonychina,
The background check is just if you had problems with  the law. they hardly ever go so much into details of your employment back ground. like i can guarrantee about it bro. dont worry at all. and if they call your company, they would just ask basics things about you like,if you are honest and reliable at work. how commited to work you are. if you are on a work permit and if they could hire you beyond the Issuance of a PR. from my experience myself and i have been in this country long enough, they will only fully scrutinize you only if you have problem with the law. other than that, they odnt have so much time to waste asking all details about a client. they have so much files to take care of. so chill and dont worry  about it so much.
