hi to all,

got approval from cio lately and im on preparing documents to local visa office.i need some help with my coe:
im a nurse, has worked 1 year as a registered nurse  in the Philippines.im afraid ill not be getting maximum 21 points for work experience so i applied as nurse instructor under college vocational instructor as i have been working as part time instructor for 3 years and 11 months  now not realizing that nurse instructor is still under Registered Nurse category.

my question

1. wen i submit my documents to local embassy, can i change my NOC to Registered Nurse instead of College and other Vocational Instructor?
thank you

Your wording is not clear to me. Why not change the NOC before sending the application, since you say that you have yet to send the documents to the embassy?

char,

that is crucial. Nova Scotia approved the initial assessment based on the applied NOC. Local CHC might forward your application to CIO for re assessment if you will use another NOC not similar to what was initially apprived.

You will still get the maximum points for experience. To qualify for FSW immigration you need to have at least  one year of full time experience on the 38 NOC that you applied, which you have. To count the experience points, they will include counting the past experiences you had that are classified as skill type O, type A, and Type B, irregardless if they belong to the 38 list or not. Clinical Instructor, and college instructor are I think classified as type A.
