Hi guys, my dad was surfing through the web and some place it said you could sponsor a relative, well specifically it was under Family Class Sponsorship, and one of the points is "Other relative, if the Sponsor has no relative listed above and no relatives who are Canadian citizens". And my dad asked if he could sponsor his young cousin who is 19. Although it says " no relatives who are canadian citizens or PR", and we live in Canada (my dad's family), could my dad sponsor my cousin?

Thanks,

Your dad already has family members in Canada so no, he can not sponsor the cousin under the federal system.

However, if you are living in AB, SK or MB, he might be able to sponsor the cousin under PNP family class.  You can find the PNP's at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/apply-who.asp
