CPCM used to approve sponsorships within about a month, but since June, people have been waiting sometimes two months or more, so you are not alone. That said, there have been several people to get sponsorship approvals too. The official processing time on CIC's website right now, by the way, is 55 days, and they're "working on applications on June 21, 2011."
