For both the applicant, VO is Singapore! One of them sent docs in Mar-10 and another in May-10.

I think CIO will not accept second applications whose UCI already exists and e-cas status showing RBVO because they cant issue second UCI if your application already exists at visaoffices under fast track programme (post nov.2008 ). This is what i am predicting because eventhough the cap was not reached of 1000 on 10th june2011 they sent my second application back while DHL delivered mine on 10th june 2011 to CIO and see the cap as mentioned by CIO website : Applications received toward the overall cap: 13,682 of 20,000 as of June 21, 2011
Applications received per eligible occupation: Eligible Occupation (by National Occupational Classification [NOC] code) Number of Complete Applications Received* 0631 Restaurant and Food Service Managers 1,000 (Cap reached)** 0811 Primary Production Managers (except Agriculture) 178 1122 Professional Occupations in Business Services to Management 1,000 (Cap reached)** 1233 Insurance Adjusters and Claims Examiners 442 2121 Biologists and Related Scientists 1,000 (Cap reached)** 2151 Architects 980 3111 Specialist Physicians 976 3112 General Practitioners and Family Physicians 1,000 (Cap reached)** giving excuse of cap reached

I don't think this is the reason (UCI No)for sending your application back, below is extract from their site that the number of application received is approximate. NOTE: Because application intake fluctuates, these figures are meant as a guide only. There is no guarantee that an application sent in now will fall within the cap.Furthermore, your NOC is showing Number of application received as 976 very near to reaching cap. So quite possible cap was reached at that time.

TODAY I GOT REPLY FROM MINISTER OFFICE:Dear : This is in reply to your correspondence dated June 2, 2011, addressed to the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism, concerning the status of your application for permanent residence (APR) under the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) Program. We appreciate your wish to become a permanent resident of Canada as soon as possible. Unfortunately, because of the lack of specific information contained in your correspondence (full name with correct spelling, date of birth, county of birth, applicable file number(s), office of application, etc; I am unable to obtain any details on your specific case. What I can say is that, updated information on processing times can be found at: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-ec.asp. I would also like to explain that changes to immigration law in 2008 allow Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) to set, through Ministerial Instructions (MI), the number and type of applications considered for processing each year, and the order in which these applications will be processed. Under the first set of instructions (MI-1) CIC used this new authority under immigration law to control the type of applications received, but not the number. The number of applications received exceed the ability to process them in a timely way. CIC introduced caps on June 26, 2010 on the FSW program as part of the second MI. CIC has limited the intake of new FSW applications to better match the number CIC can actually process within the annual levels plan tabled in Parliament. The third set of MI, introduced in June 2011, further adjusted the intake of economic class APRs. FSW applications under the third MI are processed on a priority basis. Further information can be found at: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/releases/2011/2011-06-24a.asp. CIC has received enough FSW applications since February 27, 2008 to reach immigration levels for the next two years. Unfortunately, it will take longer to process those submitted under the first set of instructions (between February 27, 2008 and June 25, 2010) than originally projected. This number represents more than twice the number of projected admissions under the program in 2011. CIC's goal is to make the immigration system more responsive to labour market needs. By giving priority to FSW applications received on or after July 1, 2011, CIC is responding to the most urgent labour market needs first. The length of time it takes to finalize an application under this program varies from one visa office to another since visa offices face different challenges. CIC continues to work towards global service standards and the use of departmental standard forms to minimize such regional variations as much as possible. I hope that this information is of assistance. D. Kit Ministerial Enquiries Division

I disagree with the CIC lies! Can we say that all the new MI-3 will be given employment as soon as they land? ditto to the MI-1 and MI-2. So why not treat each case according to the dates since nobody is gauranteed job placement? However, they have right to whatever rubbish they force down our throat afterall is their country.

Friends,
Anyone in this forum, who has crossed the 14 months (Mentioned against ND Visa Office) mark without recieving Medical Requests? And without any communication from New Delhi Visa Office?
I am asking this question to applicants between Feb2010-Jun2010.
This is to cross verify, whether they are keeping the words as per the site.
Cheers, GK.

Canada is adjusting its intake of applications from economic immigrants to further reduce the backlog and improve wait times while
meeting the country's labour market needs, Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism Minister Jason Kenney announces.
“The backlog of federal skilled worker applications is now half of what it was when we announced the Action Plan for Faster Immigration
in 2008,” said Minister Kenney. “These measures will help us to continue that progress.” ...
We don't see any progressive steps as of now!!!
